Used it for my Thule cargo box and couldn’t be happier perfect fit and super easy installation thank you

Great product !!!

My 2 piece lock set was in stocks. It arrived on the date I was given. It was easy to install. Good communication from the seller on my order status.

We have had this for about a year. Just love how this hangs off a studd in our garage. Its at the right height to hang and pick up to put on the car. It was easy to install. I wish I had another one for my bike rack for non electric bikes.

The product was exactly as described.

I gave your company and especially the sales associate Samantha a diamond star rating for being able pull off for me what many other store and dealers claim was impossible at the time which was acquiring my Thule roof rack system. I am now ready for my kayak fishing season thanks to your team. When the shopping gets tough, find it on etrailer!

I’n all honesty, it is well built and performs as described. The negative is its excessive and overwhelming weight. It is impossible for my wife to use.

The key cylinder fit perfect into my Thule T2 Classic 2 bike hitch. It works well. I feel my bike is secure with this new addition.

The part fit perfectly and it was a great value. I would recommend to anyone.

Had to drill out my locks as the previous owner broke both keys in the lock. Replacement was simple afterward and they work without issue.

Still working as good as ever. So happy I was able to find a replacement for my carrier locks.

Awesome,Keep my records cause for sure Im gonna add more thules key.thank you very much.

I was shocked at how easy the cylinder was to replace. Perfect!

James was extremely helpful in selecting the correct replacement parts for a my bike rack lock. It arrived quickly. He also followed up to insure that the lock replacement went smoothly. Class act!

Exact swap out part.

I purchased a used Thule roof box which the previous owner had lost keys for the lock. These lock cylinders worked perfectly and were very easy to install.

Great service!

Great service delivered as promised

Great service from Etrailer on every item I have ordered from them. 2 hitches and a bike rack. Customer service is VERY good in todays world. They have not outsourced customer service! Thank you for that!

Very easy to use and provide that extra layer of security

The Thule bike rack has been great! It’s sturdy, easy to use, and is attached & removed from the hitch relatively easily. It was a great price and I’m very pleased with my purchases!

Great product. My only concern is that the locks came with no instructions. I found how to install them in the instructions for the Thule bike rack. If I had simply purchased the locks, then I might have been a little frustrated.

got what was needed and it works fine

They were very prompt with letting me know that the locks for a Thule bike rack were not in stock and provided options. When I chose to wait the additional one to two weeks, they were very responsive with updates right up until they were delivered.

Just what was ordered. Needed hard to find locks for Thule roof rack.
It's great that etrailer can get parts for Thule products.

Lock cylinders arrived quickly and were exactly as described. Thule products are well made and fit perfectly in my existing system.

What can I say---they're locks, and they don't come included with Thule stuff. So, a necessary evil. It would be nice if they were included, but what're you gonna do. I'll pay the price for the peace of mind.

The roof rack is performing like a champ.
It is everything we wanted, researched and purchased, with your help off course.
Here are a couple pics from our camping trip last year.
They can be shared anywhere if you like.

  • Troubleshooting a Thule Helium 2 Bike Rack Stuck in Trailer Hitch
The Thule Helium can be a little tricky to operate its anti-rattle and anti-theft knob, because of the construction. First thing you'll want to try is locking and unlocking the bolt a few times, or trying to spin the key in the locked position. Sometimes during installation, this gets turned 90 degrees and will behave counter to the printed images. Next, you'll want to try lifting up a little on the rack when you try to turn the knob. The anti-rattle works off of pressure, and sometimes...

  • Tips for Removing Stuck/Broken Key from Thule Roof Cargo Box
I spoke with my contact at Thule, and she did have a few suggestions for you to try. She said some people have had success retrieving broken keys using a paperclip. Try wiggling the key out using the paperclip along the ridged side of the key. I have had luck in the past using dental picks to work broken keys out of a lock cylinder. If enough of the key stem is protruding from the lock, you could also try grasping the key with needle nosed pliers and removing it that way.

  • Is It Possible To Put the Key In a Thule Cargo Box the Wrong Way
