Locks for a Thule Frontier ES Cargo Box

To determine if it will fit your Honda Pilot you will need to measure the width of the crossbars. If the crossbars are less than 3-1/4 inches wide then the box will fit. expert reply by: Michael H I also need to know what lock system is correct. The one I purchased has the stamped part number E2 in it. Will this work? My crossbars will work for the box. Just trying to make sure the stuff to secure it is all correct. I am going to have to order rubber gaskets. Just want to be sure I am safe.

The cargo box itself can be locked which would prevent anyone from opening and thus removing the box. If the box is missing its lock you would need a 2-pack of Thule lock cores, # TH450200, which include 2 locks, 2 keys, and the universal change key to install them. A lock cylinder or key that has a part number that starts with an E or an N is correct.

I need to replace the entire lock, not just the core. Is there a recommended replacement for a Thule Frontier 668

The Thule Frontier cargo box and assoicated replacement hardware has been out of production for quite a while now. I am afraid that your choices are using an old fashioned hardware store door hasp, or buying a new cargo box. Tell me about your needs and I can recommend one like the Thule # TH614.
