Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at the ceiling garnish. This is going to be for your MaxxAir MaxxFan RV roof vent. So, this is going to fit for several different roof thicknesses, since this measures about five and three quarter inches tall. See that there.
We'll be able to trim this down to match with our roof thickness so that we can clean up the look of our roof vent and make everything look nice and neat.This is also going to have the attachment point, so we'll have four mounting holes. You kind of see that there, to get that in place. It does not have any hardware that comes with it, so you will have to pick that up on your own. You'll need some flat top screws to install that, just four of those, and it looks at the diameter on those holes is about three sixteenths, so any hardware that will fit in there should work out well for you. As far as the width, outside edge to outside edge, it's about 13 and three eighths inches.
Same going this direction, or it's actually about 13 and five eighths inches, so it looks like this side just bows in a little bit. There's a little bit of a flex to it, so about 13 and a half inches either way, which is the pretty typical size. Most of your fans and vents out there are going to be 14 inches across, so 13 and a half inch rough opening or rough cutout will be about right.That's pretty much all there is to it for our ceiling garnish. I had to cut down the height of it and it was easy to do with a Dremel. The fit was perfect. Everything I have bought from etrailer I have been totally satisfied with the quality and the exceptional delivery service.

Brand new… be carry not to over tighten, they will crack
For my Travato 59K I had to trim 3 1/2 inches off the garnish to fit the max air fan. Once that was done the fit was perfect. I used a jigsaw with a laminate blade after marking the cut. Easy installation!
Easy peasy! Took 5 minutes to install and fits like a glove!

It would be nice if these were an inch or so taller, but...these garnishes have a slight draft angle, so if you cut off the lip, they can be stacked to fill roof openings more than 6" deep (Jayco 5th Wheel).

Ordered and received 3 of these; two arrived with the finish scuffed. Hopefully, I can clean the one. The other can't be cleaned. Not impressed.

Ordered this for my 2020 Jayco Pinnacle 32RLTS. Although, I am sure this part would fit just about any MaxxAir MaxxFan RV Roof Vent installation of this size. Before ordering, I confirmed the part number with MaxxAir. Then, ordered from etrailer. Love etrailer, they have great customer service, great prices and their site is filled with helpful information and videos for almost every part they stock. The original garnish in my Pinnacle was cracked around one of the screw holes, most likely due to over-tightening at the factory. The crack did not affect the function of the fan, just cosmetic. Installing the replacement from etrailer was fairly easy. Remove the old one by removing the four screws. The replacement needed trimmed around the top to match the roof profile which slopes in my application. Used the old garnish as a guide for size and trimmed the new with my oscillating saw. You could probably trim it with a utility knife or fine toothed hand saw as well. You will also need to drill new holes for the mounting screws. Again, use the old garnish as a guide. I also reused the screws from the original garnish. Screwed the new one in place and it looks great. One tip for working with white things and a white ceiling, wash your hands frequently to avoid leaving dirt and/or dirty fingerprints, etc.

A year later, it still looks great. We have the same fan in our bathroom and its garnish is cracked similarly to the one replaced a year ago. We have this on our list of fixes and to order from etrailer.
Perfect fitment after ordering and having to return another I bought off Amazon that did not fit.

Quick delivery and packaging was excellent. It look like I pick it up from wherever it was stored. Fitment was excellent. Only wished the correct flathead screws were supplied.
Perfect replacement for the Maxxair garnish ring. The original ring I cracked during the installation, and Over time that crack was getting larger, and was time to replace. I made sure I installed with a manual screw driver to avoid damaging. All worked out fine. The shipping took longer than I was used to, maybe because I chose the cheapest delivery option

Replacement remains in good working condition No cracking. I made sure not to overtighten the screws.
Fits perfectly. Nice quality. Would be nice to have four white screws to come with it. Beside that love the product.
