This part replaces 1 track nut for your Thule Thule Tracker or Tracker II roof-rack foot. The track nut attaches to the bottom of your roof-rack foot and installs in the track of your factory roof rack.

Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Thule Replacement Track Nut.This is going to be a direct replacement from Thule, so you can trust it's going to work for your setup. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. This is going to replace one track nut that originally came with your Thule Tracker II Half Foot Pack, or the Thule Tracker TK6, TK8, or TK9 Roof-Rack Fit Kits. This will attach to the bottom of your Tracker or Tracker II Foot with the bolt that you probably already have.
But if you don't already have it, we do sell it separately here, etrailer, that will fit right in there. Helps to mount your Tracker or Tracker II Foot to the factory roof-rack tracks on your vehicle. So if you are missing one of these track nuts, whether it's been damaged or you've lost it, this is going to be the replacement that you need.So that's going to complete our look for today. I just purchased a new camper shell and one of the optional equipment is the installation of Thule tracks. I already had Yakima cross bars, cargo carrier, ski racks, kayak racks, etc. Well these Thule track nuts fit perfectly onto to my Yakima foots and cross bars. Excellent for attaching anything to factory tracks on camper shells. I used them to mount a Smittybilt Defender roof basket to my fiberglass Leer Commercial Cap (heavy duty).
If you have Yakima Tracks on your Truck Camper Shell, these slide into any open space along the track. I used some M6 Lifting Eye Nuts to make some perfect mounting hooks for hanging my camp kitchen storage bag or vehicle side hanging table. I expect these will come in handy for anchor points for my canopy or string lights.

As always E-trailer came through with fast, dependable service. I'm grateful E-trailer carries these parts, but Thule's prices for same are ridiculous.
This is the nut you need if you have a track with accessories attached that you don’t want to bother moving (which requires removing the rivet on the end cap and then reinstalling). With this nut you drop it in anywhere along the track in the narrow orientation and as you tighten it, the nute rotates 90 degrees in the track and locks into place in the wide orientation. I had Thule tracks on my van roof that were used to attach solar panels that I did not want to mess around with removing (it would have required removing end caps, detaching wiring, sliding them out the ends of the tracks, and then putting it all back together). I had Yakima towers and bars on back order and needed to cobble something together for a trip. I was able to order four of these nuts and picked up some M6 bolts at the hardware store to anchor a block of wood that I attached to a wood crossbar. When my Yakima towers arrived I took my temporary wooden rack off and installed the towers using the same nuts instead of the square nuts that came with my towers (this did require me to order 4 more of these nuts as each tower had two anchor points). This is a great product that opens up flexibility for anchoring either your own custom accessories or factory towers from either Thule or Yakima without having to slide the standard rectangular bolts the length of the entire track—you just drop the nut in where you want it.
I had an extremely difficult time finding the parts I needed until I came across etrailer.com! I got exactly what I needed in a short amount of time and for a very good price. Thank you etrailer!

Just Perfect!
These rhombus nuts are hard to find and the shape makes them work really well. I used them for a DIY project for the Thule tracks that came on my truck cap.
I've used this part to attach my self made brackets for a kayak installation. They fit well and slide easily.

The track nuts look good and work well after a year use.
This product is very handy. I have a truck with a canopy that has roof rack rails that work with both Thule and Yakima racks. My Yakima rack uses the Landing Pads that have rectangular anchor nuts or plates that require removing the end piece and sliding the plates into the track. Unfortunately, the end pieces are screwed through the canopy with the holes waterproofed, making them difficult to remove and re-install. These Thule nuts fit the screws supplied by Yakima and allow installing the Yakima Landing Pads without removing the end pieces. Very Handy. Thanks.
Just what in needed they will fit Yakima tracks . This will allow you to use your old Yakima mounts on new Thule tracks. $8.00 beats the cost of a new set of racks. Be sure to price challenge as they are only $1.00 each on the Thule website
Fits great in the tracks that came with my canopy.
This diagonal piece of metal fit in the roof rail of my truck cap. I was then able to screw a bracket to it. I was totally awed with how it performed mechanically. It was able to secure itself under the rail and in addition I was able to thread a screw into the threaded hole. Again, a phenomenal piece of engineering.
Part's fit and function was spot on for what I needed. The shipping from etrailer left something to be desired. Part was in stock at time of ordering, order tracking confirms in stock. Order ships 9 days later by usps then arrives to me 8 days after that. 17 days turn around for in stock items, leaves room for improvement.
These work on Yakima Tracks too. They allow you to drop it into the track without removing the end cap which is why I got them. Be sure to get the appropriate screw as the threaded hole is a different size than the Yakima ones. I ordered mine with regular shipping and it came in two days which was three days faster than was estimated!!
Thule TK1 replacement parts were great. Just like original brackets from manufactured store bought kit. Great customer service and very quick ordering and shipping. Great company to do business with.
This was a very simple and very small order, but the team at etrailer gave the utmost attention when we had some shipping problems. "No order too small" is the TRUTH at etrailer.
