Question:

I am trying to see if they would fit the roof rails of a 2008 Ford Taurus-X. I have a tk1fit kit and this item is the correct part for the tk1s but the slot of the roof rail is 3/4inch wide on the Taurus-X and Im not sure if the tk1 spacers are too narrow to fill the gap.

The dimensions of Thule replacement part 853-5127 are shown on the linked photo I prepared for you after pulling one of these from our warehouse and measuring it. This item is a flexible plastic material whose mounting holes are spaced at 3-inches on center.

This item fits inside the track of factory roof rack railings and mounts to the bottom of the rack foot with bolt # 924-0617-15, washer # 951-0613-12 and track nut # 853-2106.

Adam, Do you sell these spacers? I had a 2017 truck with a Thule roof rack on a Leer truck camper shell. Bought a new truck and new Leer camper shell and was transferring the system over and noticed one of these spacers is missing and one is broke in half. Let me know if I can purchase them from Etrailer or if you know where I get two. Thanks Jeff

@Jeff Unfortunately this spacer has been discontinued and is no longer available. You might be able to find it from a marketplace type deal where people sell used parts, but you'll be hard-pressed to find this from a retailer like us.
