  • Is There a 3" to 2" Reducer Available for a 2021 Ford F-350?
We definitely have a couple options for you. I do not suggest using multiple reducers with weight distribution, so the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 will adapt your 3 inch receiver to a 2 inch without the need of one in between them. I do suggest using an anti rattle device when using a reducer with a weight distribution system, however, and the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer # BLU85QR is designed to fit 3 inch hitches and will keep everything nice and secure...

  • Recommended 3 Inch to 2 Inch Hitch Reducer with 5/8 Inch Pin Hole
There is a solution for you, the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 which has a 5/8" hitch pin hole and would give you the security you need. Using the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves - 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" # C45408 with its 3/4" hitch pin hole would not be ideal because the conflicting hitch pin diameters would mean your tow bar would be loose inside the receiver. I have added a link to a video review of the Buyers Products adapter for you to check out as well.

  • Can I Use An Extender For A 2-1/2" Hitch In A 2" Hitch?
I do have some potential solutions for you, but we are not aware of any kind of adapter that would go from a 2" hitch to a 2-1/2" hitch. An adapter like that would cause a lot of folks to overload their 2" hitches. The 2" hitches are only rated for so much weight. Also keep in mind that the use of a hitch adapter/extender will effectively decrease your tongue weight capacity by half. Using an adapter plus an extension would drastically decrease your towing capacity, and this would not be...

  • Adapter to Use a Tow Bar with a 2 inch Shank in a 3 inch Hitch Receiver Opening
I do have a way for you to use your Avail tow bar with a 3-inch hitch receiver, however, there are no replacement shanks that fit a 3-inch hitch receiver. All you need to use a tow bar that fits a 2-inch hitch receiver in a 3-inch hitch receiver is use the Buyers Products Receiver Adapter # 337RTA302. This will reduce the receiver opening size on your trailer hitch from 3 inches to 2 inches so that you can use any tow bar with a 2-inch shank. It has a Gross Towing Weight (GTW) capacity...

  • Adapter to Go From 3 Inch Hitch of 2017 Ford F-250 to 2 inch HItch
If the truck you buy does have a 3-inch hitch installed on it the Buyers Products Adapter Part # 337RTA302 would be the correct adapter as it will slide into the hitch and provide you with a 2-inch hitch. A standard hitch pin that you would have for the 3-inch hitch would be all you need to secure the adapter like part # 58388. Then for a pin for the 2-inch hitch you would want the part # PC3.

Hey Andrew, thanks for reaching out! Yes, you've done a great job researching what you need. The following parts can be used together to achieve what you're trying to accomplish: - 18" Long Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4600 - Buyers Products 3" to 2" Adapter # 337RTA302 - Ball Mount Adapter # BA-1 - Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set # 906b

  • Recommended 3" to 2" Hitch Reducer
Hi Doug, I do have a recommendation for you, and what you can use for a reducer is the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302. Just put this in your 3" hitch and it gives you a 2" receiver on the end of the tube. To secure it to your 3" hitch use pin and clip # 325-GH-099.

  • Adapter for Swagman XTC2 on Ford F-250 With 3" Receiver
Hi Woody; the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 will solve your problem. This adapter extends out from your 3" receiver and has an additional hitch pin hole so the anti-rattle hitch pin will once again be usable.

  • Recommended Hitch Reducer For A 3" Trailer Hitch Receiver
Hey Gerry, The Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 uses a 5/8" hitch pin, but I'm assuming you probably have a 3/4" hitch pin hole on your 3" receiver? If so then the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves - 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" # C45408 would be a better option for you help eliminate play.

  • Can The etrailer Anti Rattle Clamp e38FV Be Used With A 3" To 2" Reducer Adapter?
Good afternoon Nathan, that's a great question! You can use the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2" Hitch Receivers # e38FV with a 3" to 2" reducer adapter like Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 when installed on the 2" section. Keep in mind, this adapter is not a fit for the vehicle's 3" receiver section. I added a photo which highlights the 2" section that this adapter would be compatible with on a 3" to 2" adapter. Usually this anti-rattle collar is used...

  • Why Does the Buyers Products 3 to 2 Receiver Tube Adapter Reduce Weight Capacity
In regards to the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter part # 337RTA302 which is a great option for a Ford F-350, the adapter will actually reduce the towing capacity of the trailer hitch and vehicle while in use to 12,000 lbs of gross trailer weight and 1,200 lbs of tongue weight. The reason that this adapter reduces capacity is because it extends the connection beyond the receiver. If you're looking for a reducer which does not reduce capacity, I recommend the Trailer Hitch...

  • Recommended Hitch Extension For A 3 Hitch On A 2021 Ford F-250
The 3" hitches Ford is using are throwing everyone for a bit of a loop. With that being said, I do have a couple options for you to check out. First will be the TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension - 3" Ford Super Duty Factory Hitch # TLE1636. This will measure 32 inches long, so it is longer than you need, but it is also rated up to 3,600 pounds towing and 360 pounds of tongue weight. This jumps up to 7,200 pounds towing and 720 pounds of tongue weight when a weight distribution system is...

  • Correct 3 to 2 Hitch Reducer for Ford OEM 3 Hitch
I do have an option for you but the Reducer Sleeve for Super Titan Hitch Receivers part # 38735 does not work with any of the Ford OEM 3" Hitches. Instead, I recommend the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter part # 337RTA302 which is confirmed to fit.

  • Will Using a Receiver Hitch Reducer Sleeve Reduce Tongue Weight Of Receiver?
Using a Hitch Sleeve Reducer # BWRHXA2182 or # BWRHXA2183 will not reduce the capacity of your receiver. You will need to ensure you do exceed the weight capacity of the ball mount or other hitch mounted accessory that you are using. A sleeve like the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 will have its own weight capacity rating. For this sleeve it is 1,200lbs tongue weight and 12,000lbs trailer weight, so you will be limited to those weight capacities rather than...

  • 3 Inch to 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Reducer for 2019 Ford F-350 Super Duty
That's a good question and to reduce the 3" receiver in your 2019 Ford F-350 to a 2" receiver I recommend using the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302. The reason is, this is a single-piece reducer which will be simpler to use than having to mess with both a sleeve and a reducer. It also completely eliminates the chance of forgetting you had a sleeve in the receiver and having it fall out, as wisely noted by one of our customers. I have added a link to a video...

  • Is it Safe to Use More Than One Reducer Sleeve to Go From 3" to 2" Receiver Size
It's definitely okay to use 2 sleeves to reduce your 3" receiver down to a 2" receiver. We actually have our Reducer Sleeve Kit # e33YR which this setup. If you'd feel safer with 1 solid piece then it sounds like you're wanting the Buyers Products 3" to 2" Receiver Tube Adapter # 337RTA302 which does give you a little bit of extension but also means you aren't using 2 pieces just to get down to the desired receiver size. Attached are review videos of each product for you to check out.

  • Adapter to Fit 3 inch Hitch of 2017 Ford F-350 and Provide 2 inch Hitch
The correct adapter for the 3 inch hitch on your 2017 Ford F-350 down to a 2 inch hitch is the Buyers Products adapter part # 337RTA302 as it has the correct diameter for the hitch pin of 5/8 inch. Everything else we offer does not match this size.

  • Can Hollywood Racks RV Rider Fit in 3 inch Hitch and Still Use Hitch Lock
To use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR in a 3 inch hitch and allow you to still use the hitch lock you'd need a hitch reducer like the part # 337RTA302 which puts the 2 inch hitch out far enough from the 3 inch hitch for the pin and lock to fit through.

  • Compatibility of the e99007 Hitch Stabilizer with 3 Inch Receiver with Reducers
The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches - Vinyl Coated Steel # e99007 is compatible with your 2 inch ball mount. The U-bolt is 4-1/4 inches tall overall and 2 inches wide on the inside. This should allow for snugging your ball mount into your receiver depending on the reducers used. If you have a stacked reducer like the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves - 3" to 2-1/2" or 2" # C45408 the collar may have too much of a gap to overcome with that type of stabilizer but...

If you need an additional 5/8” hitch pin I would recommend the Buyers Products # 337HP6256WC hitch pin with clip . If you prefer a locking hitch pin then the Master Lock # ML1465DAT will work well. One thing to note is that this reducer has really not been tested with a WD system so you'll be sailing in uncharted territory. • Will Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack Fit 2024 Ford F-250 With 3" Receiver Using Adapter
You can use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR with your 3" receiver as long as the 3" to 2" adapter is like the # 337RTA302 where the tube sticks out with an additional hitch pin hole. If you were to use a reducer sleeve like # e33YR that shares a hitch pin hole with the 3" receiver the locking hitch pin wouldn't be able to fit.
