Expert Answers about Toledo

  • Surge Brake Actuator Shock Availability
  • The best recommendation I can give you since we don't carry the Gabriel actuators would be to check out the link I attached that will take you to a page that has all of the actuator shocks we carry. On the product pages for each there will be dimensions for each that you can compare to the shock he is trying to replace.

  • Compatibility of Parts for Military Trailer
  • The parts you listed will need to be compatible with what is on your M101A3 military trailer, rather than the trailer itself. For example, the Master Cylinder # 10614 and Replacement Shock Absorber # 1844-2 are for Toledo brake actuators; if that is what you have on your trailer, then these parts will work. The same is true of the Wheel Cylinder - RH # BP17-020 and LH # BP17-030; they are replacements for 10" and 12" single serve brake assemblies manufactured by Dexter, Bendix, Dico,...

  • Replacement Parts for a Toledo Actuator on a Military Trailer
  • It is possible that the numbers on your master cylinder and our replacement # 10614 are just casting numbers. They do look similar and they seem to both be Toledo models. • How Long is the Spring for the Push Rod on Toledo Trailer Brake Actuator 16006

  • Recommended Drum Brake Actuator For A 4,000 Lb. Trailer
  • I do have an option available for you however, I cannot recommend modifying your brake actuator. There are two main factors to consider when choosing a brake actuator. The first being the type of brake actuator, such as an actuator for disc brakes or an actuator for drum brakes. As disc brakes require a much higher psi for proper braking than drum hydraulic brakes, you will need to be sure you have the correct brake actuator rated for either hydraulic drum or disc brakes. The next thing...
