Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Loadstar ST 235/75 R15 load range D radio off-Road trailer tire with 15 inch black mod wheel and five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire and wheel assembly is gonna be great for trailers, off-roading on mud, or other uneven terrain with this deep rugged tread. But this tire and wheel assembly can also be used on the highways and other paved roads. This special trailer tire or ST tire has sturdy sidewalls so it can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers and it's not intended for use on other vehicles.
This radial tire is constructed with double steel belts and full nylon flies for a long life. And this deep rugged tread is going to channel water away from the tire to improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Now this tire size as we have stamped right here is an ST 235/75 R15, and the section width of this tire is 9.3 inches. And the outer diameter is 29 inches. And this is a load range D tire, meaning it has an eight ply rating.
The maximum load is 2,860 pounds at 65 PSI. And this has a speed rating of Q indicating a maximum speed of 99 miles per hour. Now this modular steel wheel and you see that modular design there is very sturdy and it's gonna do a great job of resisting rust with its black powder coat finish over E-coat. And the dimensions of this wheel measuring from bead seat to bead seat, the diameter is 15 inches and then the width of this wheel is six inches. And we mentioned that our bolt pattern is five on four and a half inches.
And in case you don't know, the first number of the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes, but the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. Now this wheel has a capacity of 2,200 pounds. The wheel stud size is a half an inch by 20, the center cap is sold separately, but if you pick one up, you just wanna make sure that fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. Now this tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications, and I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today.
I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
