Hi Wade, Yes, you’ve definitely got some good options to get away from hand cranking, and I totally get wanting something easier, especially with a cattle trailer. A lot of cattle trailers are gooseneck style and use a square center-mounted jack like…

Stacked-Plate Engine Oil Coolers for Class V Towing
Tackle hot days and steep grades with confidence when towing a heavy trailer. A stacked-plate cooler is the most efficient cooler and it's usually smaller, so placement is easier for class v towing needs. For best results, mount in a spot with the most airflow, preferably in front of the radiator.
If your cooler's electric fan is reversible, it's typically set as a puller from the factory. To convert to a pusher, flip the fan blade upside down on the motor shaft and reverse the wiring polarity so the motor spins the opposite direction. Simply reversing wiring is not enough. Check clearances and ensure adequate airflow around the cooler before mounting.
Prioritize a transmission cooler. Most modern vehicles have efficient cooling and an engine oil cooler may not be needed, and in some cases can slightly lower oil pressure. A Stacked-Plate Cooler can help on older vehicles with large engines or off-road use where airflow is limited. Transmission coolers help a ton and cooler fluid helps the transmission last.
Mount it where it gets strong airflow. If your Stacked-Plate Cooler includes a fan, it can be installed anywhere in the engine compartment since it provides its own air flow. If it does not include a fan, install it where it sees the most airflow, preferably in front of the radiator. Verify space for the cooler and any fan assembly and allow airflow around the unit.
Yes, a Stacked-Plate Cooler can reduce oil temps and help recovery under heavy towing. Users towing 7000lbs to 9500lbs saw temps drop from about 115 deg Celsius on flats and 130 - 135 deg Celsius on hills to rarely seeing 115 deg Celsius on a hill, with quick recovery to 100 deg Celsius. Still watch temps, and if they get over 260 f or so, downshift a gear or two to get greater fluid flows.
