Question:

I have a 2017 ram 3500 Dually, standard transmission, 6.7 L diesel. The frame rails outside to outside or 42 inches between the two. I’m wondering if you have a class five hitch that would fit this? Thank you very much for your time.

Hey George! We do have a class V hitch that will fit your 2017 Ram 3500 dually. It is the Curt item # C15803. This class V hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Ram with included hardware. It is compatible with both bed lengths and the dually model. It will not fit a cab and chassis model only a standard pickup truck.

Please note the Curt Hitch item # C15800 you were looking at will only fit the cab and chassis models of the 2017 Ram 3500.

Is your Ram 3500 a standard truck or the cab and chassis model?

Hello Jarred! Thank you for reaching out to me! My truck came with a bed so I assume it is not a cab and chassis model. I bought it used so i am not positive about this. I will measure again the distance between the two frame rails inside to inside and also outside to outside and get back to you. Thank you sir George

@GeorgeB Hey George! You're good no need to measure! You do not have a cab and chassis model if your Ram came with a truck bed.

Howzit Jerred! I live in Hawaii so I need to make sure the measurements are correct so I don’t have to send it back. The measurement between the frame where the original hitch is is 36 1/8 inches inside to inside and 43 inches outside the outside. Sorry about the stupid questions. Thank you so much for the help.
