16W x 24L Inch sizing helps you line up with an existing opening for a clean refresh. Looks good once in place, though some installs may call for small modifications. In a few cases, units can be about 3/8 of an inch shorter lengthwise than advertised, which can shift screw holes and show where the old garnish sat.
Center the skylight and mark fresh hole locations rather than relying on old ones. If the unit measures about 3/8 of an inch shorter lengthwise, the original holes can be a bit off. Fill or seal any exposed old holes and drill new ones as needed for a snug, leak-resistant fit.
Verify the roof cutout is 16W x 24L inch and confirm the flange will cover the old footprint. Dry-fit to see if any modifications are needed. Be ready to tweak the fit if dimensions vary a bit lengthwise. Mark hole locations only after the skylight is centered.
