Slide-out access keeps the basement organized and easy to reach. These 33 inch wide trays are a solid match for many RV bays and installation is straightforward—even solo. For the right fit, measure your compartment depth and door opening, and check subfloor thickness before mounting. If you want access from either side of the rig, choose a 2 way slide option.
Some slides don't lock in the open position, so check the product details. A slight 1/16"-1/8" jiggle can occur; adding a closer stop bar can quiet it. Watch for paint flaking where rollers contact the tray and touch up if needed to help prevent rust in moisture. Two-way slides can improve access and organization from both sides.
Measure the compartment depth and width and also the door opening. Make sure the 33 Inch Wide tray and its mounting rails clear the door frame; some installs used a spacer board to avoid contact. Doors that open a full 90 degrees can make fitting and access easier. If your opening is tighter on one side, confirm the tray section will pass through the narrowest point.
