Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2018 Subaru Forester

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Forester, we're gonna be test fitting the Rhino rack vortex aero roof rack system, consisting of part number RRVA126V-2. These are the vortex aero crossbars. This also come in silver as part number RRVA126S-2 and we'll be using the SX series legs here as part number RRSX100. This is a very nice roof rack system that can fit a wide variety of accessories, such as bike racks, cargo baskets or cargo boxes and it helps to free up space inside your Forester. The bars themselves have an elliptical shape to them and that couples with the vortex aero strip up at the top, that will help cut down the wind noise and drag while you drive. The end caps are removable loosening up this plastic lock here and you can replace these locks with regular keyed locks to secure this to your roof as well.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2018 Subaru Forester

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Forester, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima JetStream Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y-00425, and that's going to be the Yakima JetStream crossbars here. These are 50 inches long and they also come in silver. We'll also be using the Timberline towers here, part number Y-00147. These simply wrap around your existing side rails, I'll remove the end cap here, and attach like so. It's a very nice roof rack system that can carry a wide variety of accessories such as bike racks, cargo baskets or cargo boxes and help free up space inside your Forester.On the end caps here, we do have plastic knockout pieces that can be replaced with the Yakima SKS lock core system so once this is installed, it can be secured to you factory raised side rails but also, be keyed alike with the accessories you're hauling. Removing the end cap here, you can utilize T-Track accessories with this as well.Now something that sets this apart from the other rook racks, though, is while with many of them, you'll have to remove the strips up at the top and cut them to length for your accessories, with this you can simply push down on the strip in the center here and slide your accessories in.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2018 Subaru Forester

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Forester we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of part numbers TH7502-TH7502, and these are the Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack Systems. These also come in black as part number TH7502B. This is a nice roof rack system that has a nice factory style look to it once it's installed. The bars themselves have an aerodynamic shape, so it's going to cut down wind noise and drag while you drive.Taking off the top cover here, you can utilize T track accessories with this. You simply remove the strip, install your T track accessory, cut the strip to length, and put it back into place.



Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Subaru Forester

Speaker 1: Today on a 2018 Subaru Forester, we're gonna be test fitting the Malone Airflow2 Roof Rack System, part number MPG215. These are the 50 inch long bars and they wrap around your factory raised side rails. The Malone Airflow Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle.The bars have an aerodynamic shape to them and that coupled with the rubber strip at the top, as well as the one that you would cut to length that goes underneath. That's gonna cut down the wind noise and drag while you're driving, eliminating the need for fairings which is what you would have with your round and square bars.Also, what sets us apart from the others, we have this latch that opens up at the end. You can use T-Track accessories with this but instead of having to remove the rubber strip to install them, you simply push down the rubber strip and install your accessory. These are very easy to install, they simply clamp around your existing factory raised side rail.

These are 50" long. We'll also be using part number Y00147, and these are the Timberline Towers for the Yakima Crossbars, particularly for factory raised side rails.The Yakima CoreBar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. This combines the sturdiness of the round bars with the aerodynamic qualities of the aero bars, as you're going to cut down wind noise and drag while you drive with the shape of these.it's very easy to install. It simply wraps around your factory raised side rail, with this strap here and it's tightened down.



Malone SteelTop Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Subaru Forester

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Subaru Forester, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Steel Top Roof Rack System part number MPG202. This consists of 58" long crossbars and it will be attached to your factory rate side rails. It should also be noted that this is the exact same insulation procedure for part number MPG201 as well. The Malone Steel Top Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, while freeing up space inside your vehicle.And while the square bars are sturdy by themselves, they are going to make noise while you travel. One of the best things about this roof rack system is everything comes already assembled, unlike others where you would have to assemble the feet or the legs or whatever you want to call it, into place. It also has this lock at the end here, so once you install this it is going to be secure to your factory raised side rails.
