Are there any hitches that fit into the stock location on a 2005 ford explorer XLT 4WD .

No, there are not. The aftermarket hitches, like the etrailer item # e55KR, all mount below the original location of the factory hitch on your 2005 Ford Explorer XLT. I have attached a picture below to show you what it will look like once installed.
I saw you were looking at a front hitch. The only one that fits the 2005 Explorers is the Curt item # 31540. It sticks out right below the license plate.
