Hey Dusty! There is a lot of information out there right now about Chill Cube. Some of it is definitely confusing, especially when we have people trying to use parts that aren't designed for the new R32 systems. On top of that, the Chill Cube uses a remote which acts as its thermostat and isn't compatible with a furnace.
There are two ways to make everything work together, I will give you both. The first is to get the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w Air Distribution Box - Ducted... view full answer...
Hi Brian,
To ensure you're getting the correct fit you'll want to measure the spacing horizontally from eyelet to eyelet and vertically from the hanger bolt eyelet down to the center of the shackle strap eyelets on your current equalizer. The equalizers in kit # K71-652-00 have a horizontal measurement of 5-3/4" and vertical measurement of 2".
The included shackle strap kit comes with a 2-1/4" spacing so it wouldn't be the correct fit for your trailer. The most common sizes are 2-1/4"... view full answer...
Hello Rene, thanks for reaching out. It is pretty typical for RV manufacturers to use axles that are not rated for the full GVWR. They say this is because 10%-15% of the camper weight is on the hitch instead of the axles. They will put the bare minimum axle on there to save on costs. Very typical in the RV industry these days sadly.
It is possible to use a higher rated axle. For the 86-1/2" axles we have a 6,000 lb option. We offer it fully loaded with brakes and 6-lug hubs as part #... view full answer...
Thanks for all the information! You are correct that is the lead leg because it is closest to the gear and the motor. However, in order to determine which replacement lead leg you need, you'll need to find the model of the landing gear on your trailer and measure it's outer tube length. This is something we have no way of knowing and I wouldn't want to assume anything.
For example, if you do have a Venture landing gear with legs that measure 29-1/2" you can replace the leg with the Replacement... view full answer...
Hey Chad; since your tandem 3,500 lb axles have a 3" diameter you need the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2560. The kit comes with everything you need for installation aside from standard tools.
Also, this system is compatible with the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR you were looking at if you want to add them to the front and rear hangers. The one thing I would do is look at your hangers to make sure there is nothing like plumbing... view full answer...
Michael, so you are correct you do have 4,400 lb axles so you can use the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes # K23-478-479 for replacements.
These are self adjusting so you never need to manually adjust them, works with 14", 14 1/2", and 15" wheels, and includes both the left and right hand side.
For hubs we have had customers in the past use # 8-201-5UC3, but you'll want to check your existing bearings and verify that they will work with this hub. view full answer...
Hi Dale, it looks like you have the resurrected 4,400 lb hubs like # DX53WR with the # L68149 inner and outer bearing. These had been phased out but are making a comeback. You also need # L68111 for the races and 10-19 grease seals # RG06-050. view full answer...
Hey Bob, you'll want to go with the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup - 15,000 Btu - White # FR42PV. This is specifically for Coleman, Dometic, or Advent distribution systems. view full answer...
Hello Kevin, thanks for reaching out. We do have 12v fridge that is very close to the size of your old fridge. Take a look at the following:
- Norcold Polar Elite Full RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer - 15 Cu Ft - 12V - Stainless Steel # NC67VR
This measures 32-3/4" wide x 63-5/16" tall x 24" deep overall. it has double doors for the refrigerator and a bottom freezer drawer. Definitely a really nice looking almost residential style fridge, only it runs off 12v instead of 120v.

Hi Douglas; thank you for providing that information down below. What you have now is the 25712510. The correct replacement leg is the Replacement Hydraulic Jack Assembly for Lippert 5th Wheel RV Leveling System - 14,000 lbs - Gen 1 # LC25AF. The mounting leg has 8 holes now but it will fit your existing setup. view full answer...
Hey Rex! Those are some great questions. A weight distribution hitch (WDH) isn't always needed but in your case you will want one. Typically if the weight of your trailer is more than 50% of the weight of your vehicle it is a good idea to use a WDH. If you are getting a lot of rear sag, trailer sway, or find it hard to stop or steer those are also good reasons to use one.
I'm assuming based on that engine you have a 2019 Silverado 1500. The GVWR of your Keystone Hideout is 7,600 lbs so... view full answer...
Hey Elvin, thanks for reaching out!
At this point in time (May of 2025) Furrion doesn't have a heat strip option for their Chill Cube line of AC units.
What I recommend doing is using one of the newer R32 Furrion Chill HE AC Units so you can use the Heat Strip Add-On # FR63PR.
If you let me know what AC unit you're wanting to replace, I can see if we have something that is direct compatible, or if you need to replace the entire system. view full answer...
Hey Stuart, there's really no reason you couldn't run a generator that was locked in the etrailer Enclosed Cargo Carrier part # e34VV. Just use your best judgment with everything and you'll be fine. view full answer...
Hey Tylor, thanks for reaching out. That is a tall order. We do have 4-bike racks that can handle e-bikes, but none of them are rated for use on a 5th wheel. It is possible to carry two e-bikes on the back of a 5th wheel, but you wouldn't be able to carry the two kids bikes at the same time.
For example, a great 5th wheel rated rack is the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR. This can hold two e-bikes weighing up to 80 lbs apiece. Definitely one of our best options for safely and securely... view full answer...
Hey Rick, it looks like your 2018 Keystone Carbon TT Toy Hauler has tandem 6k axles which would mean that the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 is the correct kit.
As far as shackles go, you'd need to measure your current shackle and pick a kit that matches. So for instance, if you measured 3 1/8" long, then the Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit # LC64FR is what you'd need.
If your shackle bolts measure something different, let me know what that is and I'll see what we have. view full answer...
Hello Jonathan, thanks for reaching out. The best way to keep full bed access on your 2011 F350 will be to go with a B&W Tunoverball/Companion hitch setup. For your truck you can use # BWGNRK1111-5W for the installation kit and the # BWRVK3400-5W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch.
There are a few big advantages to going with this setup. First, the installation kit is actually a B&W gooseneck hitch. So, with the hitch removed from the bed, you will still have the full bed at your disposal with... view full answer...
Hey Rick, welcome back! If you have a stock suspension system, MORryde CRE, or SRE then you need the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember for Standard Frame Hangers # MR33WR. More than likely this is what you have on your Cougar 316RLS. If you have the MORryde LRE, RE, or TRE system then correct part is the # MR99ZR. view full answer...
Hey Pete,
The Dometic Penguin II # DMC26ZR would require the # DMC32RR in order to communicate with the iN-Command system. This will need to be installed inside of the # DMC26ZR so you'll have a little bit of work to do prior to getting the new unit up on the roof. The shroud will need to be removed and then so will the foam cover at the front of the unit. I've attached pictures and steps from the installation manual below to help walk you through the process, but if you still have questions... view full answer...
Hey Kevin, so we have a solution but the full Comfort Ride kits can't be used with the 42 inch wide wheelbase as the center equalizer isn't long enough. But what you can do is install the shock kit part # RM-2460 to get the majority of the benefit of the Comfort Ride system on the wider wheelbase setup like what you have on your 2019 Passport 2520RLWE.
How is the ride quality currently? view full answer...
Hey Jeff,
You can definitely go with a heavier duty spring for your trailer. Chances are the springs you currently have on the trailer is a little worn down so its going to measure longer than what it originally was. You most likely had a 24 7/8" spring when they were originally put on. With that said we do have a 6 leaf spring # e76SR that size that is going to jump up to a 2,650lb capacity. This is going to be more heavy duty for your trailer. The one thing I would keep in mind is going... view full answer...
