by:

This is strong and durable. I particularly like how the sleeves mount into the floor of the trailer and agree completely flush when the holder is not mounted

by:

Works great for both motorcycles, one dirt and one dual sport, installed inside cargo trailer.

by:

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT ORDER, SHIPPING, DELIVERY AND FOLLOW UP PROCESSES YOUR
COMPANY USES. i HAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO INSTALL THE ITEMS I RECEIVED BUT THEY LOOK TO BE OF HIGH QUAILITY, PRICE WAS RIGHT ON AS WELL, THANKS SO MUCH

by:

I made a mistake and ordered two of these but caught it right away. Phoned company and talked with Erika at etrailer she had me fixed up pronto. Just received package and am pleased to say just what I ordered and just what I need for my enclosed trailer that I use for more then my Harley transport. Awesome price, awesome service, couldn't be more pleased I'll search this company again for sure next time I need something they may have. I'll add pics later !

by:

Bought this to convert a flatbed trailer to haul dirt bikes. Product was everything it claimed to be and more! Highly recommend

by:

Good quality and meets expectations. I'm a bit suspect on the strength of the inserts going into chip board, which is the base of my EZ Hauler trailer. I'm not going to leave the safety of my Gold Wing to the pull out strength of these inserts into chip board. I'll have to jury rig something the bolts through underneath. I would like to have seen a mounting feature of greater strength and confidence.

Just received my order this morning of the Tow-Rax removable wheel chock.
It is exactly what I wanted and arrived in 2 days. One day earlier than the 3 day shipment I had ordered. I will not be installing it until spring, but wanted to order it now so I would not forget when I wanted to load my trike for travel to our camp in the spring. Thanks for the great service and prompt shipping.

by:

Have not installed yet, but inspected upon arrival. The part seems to be well built and the finish is good. All attaching hardware was included in the shipping box. Which doesn't always occur when ordering on line, so that's a plus. Wide enough to fit around the front tires of all of my HD's. Took only a few days to arrive. Would recommend this product to others.

by:

Good, basic wheel chock that I put in my toy hauler for my Harley. I liked that there are no "things" sticking up off the floor. I can un-screw the bolts and remove the chock with nothing to trip over and the threaded inserts are in the floor flush. Other wheel chocks have something sticking up like a bracket or something.

by:

Product was received in good condition and arrived in a short period after ordered. Installed in the bed of my trailer to secure my trike. Very satisfied with the quality and ease of installation, added benefit is the ability to remove and still have a flat floor to transport other items.

by:

I received my product yesterday and everything was as ordered.

The replacement wheel chock I received is working out very well, no issues.

by:

Product is what it is... However it still allowed my HD ultra classic to fall over in my toy hauler. I had to purchase a better one with a wheel lock built in to the wheel chock

by:

I bought a motorcycle trailer with one of these chocks but needed a second one. This was the exact duplicate the dealer installed at half the price.

by:

We have used our wheel chocks extensively for over a year, and they are just like new !! This is a sturdy, durable product that works great, we travel all over with motorcycles secured to these chocks-never had a problem.

by:

Excellent removable wheel chocks. Fairly easy to install. I have three of them on an open wood deck trailer and don't really remove them unless I have to. I use them for motorcycles and a large commercial zero-turn mower After a year of being outside, they are doing well and have weathered well! I would highly recommend these wheel chocks!

by:

Excellent product. Fits perfectly. Mounting system works great. Allows for removal easily and use of the trailer without hardware in the way causing an issue.

Still great. Been using these chocks for a year now and find it very handy to be able to remove the chock to roll a bike through to the front set - then the chocks right back in place. They are great.

by:

Has given me that extra feeling of security by being able to chock the front wheel when securing the bike on my trailer when I have to transport it and the capability of removing the chock easily when not needed. Highly recommend.

After using this check now for a year I still highly recommend it.

by:

Everything went as smooth as I could ask for the product was excellent and the installation great as the hardware worked as described. I can say enough about it when all was perfect!!!!!

by:

Great chock, easily installed and easy to remove and store when using trailer for other than motorcycle transport.

by:

Excellent Product. Very prompt delivery- just arrived in time for hauling my KTM to the trails.

Great mounting design and simple to install on my Plywood floor.

Adds just enough stability with my straps.

Removable if you need a clear floor for other uses.

It’s my 3rd purchase from Trailer.com and every time is been a great experience- their videos are very thorough and to the point.

Can’t go wrong with this company.

by:

Perfect fit

by:

Used these wheel chocks for a year now and they work great. Made it across the country with these with no worries. These help me make long trips I can’t normally make anymore, due to health reasons. etrailer has helped me keep riding in places I can’t ride to. Made it so easy to trailer to far destinations. Highly recommend these along with great service and prices from etrailer.

by:

Have three of these chicks for hauling motorcycles. They were easy to install on a wood floor trailer, tow and weather well.

Still working out great!

by:

This is a well made and sturdy product as advertised. I installed a pair of these wheel chocks in a 5th wheel toy hauler my wife and I recently purchased. Installation was easy. I liked the idea that the chocks were surface mounted and anchored directly to the floor so that I did not have to go through the under-belly of the trailer to anchor them. With that said, I was not sure how strong or stable these would be compared to Pingel wheel chocks I have used for years in a cargo trailer which had to be secured from underneath. These Tow-Rax chocks worked great. I was impressed by how strong and stable they were. We pulled our trailer and motorcycles through mountain passes and such and these chocks did the job flawlessly. I highly recommend them and I would buy them again. They are also good deal for the money. Other than that, I would like to thank the sales associate at etrailer who managed my purchase. I was kept notified of my order status and when it was shipped. I was made to feel as if etrailer was my neighborhood store down the street. Thank you!

by:

The wheel chock came in good condition, but the anchor bolts that secured the removeable plate to the bed of the trailer was not long enough to go threw the plate and the 2x10 board on the trailer. Had to go get different bolts to make it work.

  • Safely Hauling a 650 lb Motorcycle with a Fleetwood Evolution E2 and Ram 1500
Hi Ken, great question. You won’t be able to safely carry a 650 lb motorcycle on that front deck since it’s only rated for around 150 lbs, so the best and safest way to do this is loading the bike in the truck bed. With your Ram 1500, a setup that will feel stable and controlled is using a properly rated loading ramp like part # FHG73ZR to get the bike into the bed, securing the front wheel in a chock such as the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock part # TWSPWC, and then tying it down with...

  • Recommended Wheel Chocks for Motorcycle Carrier
I like the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock, # TWSPWM in black and # TWSPWC in chrome. These can be screwed down to a wood floor of a trailer but also bolted down using the included hardware. These are 8-3/8" wide and from specs available to me online, the MotoGroup, ST3402 carrier has tracks 7-1/2" wide, this option will set slightly over the edge the carriers rails. That does not prevent this being used but I think setting within the rails may make a better fit. You would need to fabricate...

If you can get your tie down straps around 45 degrees or slightly higher when securing your Harley you would be setup pretty good. This number is more of a guideline than a rule though. Your best bet would be to mock up everything first and then make sure everything would fit properly. Put your bike in the trailer and then determine where they best place to locate the tracks would be. For D-rings to use with the E-track you would want the part # E59143, for backing plates for installing...

  • Can a Wheel Chock be Safely Mounted to and Used on a Plywood Floor
Since the floor of the trailer is 1/2 inch thick plywood I recommend mounting the Tow-Rax wheel chock # TWSPWC through the floor and attaching it directly to the frame of the trailer. Or, as an alternative, you could attach a steel backing plate on the other side of the plywood floor and attach the chock to that. This will disperse the weight better. Once you have the chocks secured in one of the manners above and tie down the bikes it will be safe!

  • Motorcycle Wheel Chock in Toy Hauler Recommendation Where Under Trailer Access is Limited
You could use the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock # TWSPWC. You would not need to access the bottom of your trailer to install the install hardware. The 4-3/4 inch wide front tires of your scooters would be perfectly compatible with the Tow-Rax # TWSPWC wheel chock. The chock includes hardware for mounting the chock to a wood floor, for a metal floor you'd need the # TWSPWFKM mounting hardware. If you don't already have them, you'll also need some ratchet straps to hold the scooters in place. Ones set of # 05605 straps per scooter would have plenty to capacity to keep the scooters locked into position.
