Excellent Product. Very prompt delivery- just arrived in time for hauling my KTM to the trails. Great mounting design and simple to install on my Plywood floor. Adds just enough stability with my straps. Removable if you need a clear floor for other uses. It’s my 3rd purchase from Trailer.com and every time is been a great experience- their videos are very thorough and to the point. Can’t go wrong with this company. 809149

Have not installed yet, but inspected upon arrival. The part seems to be well built and the finish is good. All attaching hardware was included in the shipping box. Which doesn't always occur when ordering on line, so that's a plus. Wide enough to fit around the front tires of all of my HD's. Took only a few days to arrive. Would recommend this product to others. 385079

One of the benefits is the low profile design allows small wheels on scooters to fit securely without the front suspension hitting on the sides. 303151

  • Need Replacement Mounting Hardware for the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock w/ Wood Screws TWSPWC
The replacement hardware screws that come with the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock w/ Wood Screws, part # TWSPWC, are listed as part # TWSPWFKW. If you need to mount the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock to a metal floor then you will want part # TWPH2770, which includes mounting hardware for both wood and metal flooring.

  • Can a Wheel Chock be Safely Mounted to and Used on a Plywood Floor
Since the floor of the trailer is 1/2 inch thick plywood I recommend mounting the Tow-Rax wheel chock # TWSPWC through the floor and attaching it directly to the frame of the trailer. Or, as an alternative, you could attach a steel backing plate on the other side of the plywood floor and attach the chock to that. This will disperse the weight better. Once you have the chocks secured in one of the manners above and tie down the bikes it will be safe!

  • Amount of Play in Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock to Fit 6-1/2 inch Tires
The Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock, # TWSPWC in chrome or # TWSPWM in black, is made to hold 6-1/2 inch tires. If have a tire right at 6-1/2 inches it's going to fit snug with not space between the tire and the tubes. If your tire is smaller then it will leave some space for play. How much play will depend on the tire size.

  • Mounting Hardware for Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock
Yes, you can use the mounting hardware kit # TWPH2770 with the Tow-Rax removable wheel chock, # TWSPWC. there is also a kit that comes with the chock and the hardware in one part number. It is # TWSPWC3BT. I have included a link to a video on the wheel chock for you.

  • What is the Difference Between the Tow Rax Motorcycle Wheel Chocks TWSPWC3BT and TWSPWC
The difference is the included mounting hardware. The # TWSPWC3BT comes with anchors and hardware to attach to metal or wood floors whereas the part # TWSPWC only comes with wood screws. I attached a review video for both chocks for you to check out as well.

  • Can the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock be Installed on 5/8" Thick Plywood Floor
I reached out to my contact at Tow-Rax who said that the Removable Wheel Chock # TWSPWC will work great for your application. Please note though that the wheel chock isn't load bearing so you will need to secure your motocross bikes with ratchet straps like part # IMF12636.

  • Would Tow-Rax Wheel Chocks # TWSPWC Work on a 2003 Harley Superglide
Yes, the Tow-Rax Wheel Chocks # TWSPWC can work on tire widths that are up to 6-1/2 inches wide so yours that is right around 4 inches wide would work perfectly. I attached a review video for this chock for you to check out as well.

  • How to Determine if a Vespa Will Fit the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock
You would have to measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the fenders or nearest potential obstruction on the Vespa to determine if chock # TWSPWC would work. The chock is 8-1/2 inches tall so the nearest obstruction would have to be higher than that from the ground. The chock works with tires up to 6-1/2 inches wide.

  • Do Motorcycle Wheel Chocks Have Weight Capacities
The Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock # TWSPWC does not have a specific weight capacity because it does not actually carry any of the weight of the motorcycle. The weight of the motorcycle will be supported by the floor of the trailer, the anchor points for the tie downs and the tie down straps used to secure it. For a set of motorcycle tie-downs I would recommend the # EM34410 as they have plenty of capacity at 4,000 lbs max capacity. I attached review videos for both products.

  • Options for Securing Harley-Davidson Motorcycle in Garage of Toy Hauler
The combination of the existing D-rings and the wheel chock that uses the # TWPH2770 mounting hardware for the # TWSPWC sounds as if it'd be an ideal solution for you. Installing the # TWPH2770 would involve drilling holes through the floor of the garage of your toy hauler, but once the mounts were installed, the chock can easily be installed and removed as needed. If you don't already have them, you'll also need some ratchet straps to hold the scooters in place. Ones set of # 05605 straps per scooter would have plenty to capacity to keep the scooters locked into position.
