Mounting Pinball Machines, E-Bikes, and Motorcycles in a 6 x 10 Enclosed Trailer

Updated 04/22/2022 | Published 04/02/2022

Question:

I have a 6X10 trailer. 3/8 walls 1/2inch wood floor. I haul 2 things: pinball machines. figured I would install etracks on the walls, but not sure what length to secure as the walls are only 3/8 thick. 4 ebikes. 2 are eliptigos, 1 is specialized Como. standard width tires 1.5, 1 is juiced Hyper scorpion with 4inch wide tire. motorcycle seems a bit wide. - suggestions for floor mounts? Also do you recommend a locking hub for when I travel and the trailer is free standing for a week or more?

The absolute best option would be to purchase a few sets of the CargoSmart X-Track Cargo Organizer Pro Bundle - Matte Black - Steel - 667 lbs - 5' Long # 3481788-P. Since it is most likely that you need more straps than tracks, I recommend more of the CargoSmart Ratchet Straps for E-Track or X-Track - 2" Wide x 12' Long - 1,000 lbs - Qty 2 # 3481935 depending on how secure you want your cargo. With this setup, you will have multiple mounting point locations on your trailer for safe transport.

As far as the motorcycle, the Hyper Scorpian, and the e-bikes, the best bet is to use something like the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock w/ Wood Screws - 6-1/2" Wide Tires # TWSPWC. This chock comes with wood screws that are perfect for your wood floors. If the E-bikes are light enough, you may be able to simply strap them to the X-Track system.

When you say a locking hub, I think you are referring to theft-security for the bikes. While we do not have any locking hubs, I recommend using keyed-alike etrailer cable locks # e98891. If you select the "keyed alike" option from the dropdown menu on the product page, you will be able to have the same key for all locks you purchase.
