Checking and maintaining proper tire pressure is important for ensuring a safe, smooth ride and maximizing fuel economy, but it can be a real pain with dually tires. The Wheel Masters inflation kit takes the hassle out of checking air pressure and inflating the inner tires on your dual wheels.

Two hoses extend the valve stem location of the inner tires to the outer wheels. This means no more crawling around on the ground or blindly reaching for the valve stem on the inner tire. And the stainless steel wrapping on the hoses helps prevent them from cracking or leaking.

Hub-Mount Installation

The dually inflation kit is designed for steel or aluminum rear wheels with wheel liners.

Install the 2 included brackets on the hub of each inner wheel. Make sure to align the brackets with a hand hole.
Attach the hoses to the valve stems on the inner tires.
Run the hoses to the outer wheels and attach the hoses to the hub-mounted brackets.
Screw on the valve caps.

I rec'd my dually wheel / hub kit. Item#WM8005 came as a complete kit, plus it got here in only two days,which is great for coming by "carrier pigeon". I am totally pleased with the product, it fit as req'd . The service I rec'd from etrailer was GREAT the phone representative (Alcain) was VERY helpful, she is totally knowledgeable of the product lines she represents. She answered my questions, and took her time to explain the differences of the products I was looking for. The product appears to be good quality. However, the package was still in Mo. after eight days and I needed the product prior to a trip. I ordered another set and paid $[XX] to have it shipped via UPS so I would have it delivered in time. Well, the original order finally showed up after 11 days and now they’re saying that I have to pay another $[XX] to return the first order to them. Not a good way to get customers.

Everything that's needed (parts) was included in the kit. The install was a breeze. Drilled out the old grommets to center the extension.

Back in 2014 I owned a Class C motorhome for which I bought a TPMS of the type with external sensors on the 6 valve stems. Over the next two years I had endless problems with air leaking from the several rigid types of valve stem extenders that I bought. Then, in 2016, I upgraded to a Class A motorhome and transferred the same TPMS to it with one big difference: Purchase of the Wheel Masters WM8005 dual tire inflation kit from etrailer. At one year and 10,000 miles later, there has been NO leakage from the inner duals, and I am very pleased with this purchase.

Easier to install than expected. Watch the install video, it covers all of the steps necessary to install. Only tedious step is getting the extension started to turn on the inner valve stem. Much easier to air up inner tire. This kit replaced the original rubber extension. Now I will add TPMS.

As long as you use valve extenders that are not airless (don't hold air) and are constructed of brass or steel, like the Wheel Masters # WM8005 which do hold air, so they will be compatible with a TireMinder system. We do! If the 22" Inflation Kit # WM8005 is a little too large for your 2021 Ford F-450 dual wheel, then I recommend the Wheel Masters Inflation Kit # WM8002. This kit is ideal for wheel sizes 16" to 19-1/2" large. From what I know of your Ford F-450 is that it usually come with 19-1/2" wheels, which means # WM8002 will be a great fit for you. When installing the Wheel Masters 2-Hose Inflation Kit # WM8005 (Hub Mount), you are going to need to drill 2 holes into each hub and attach the brackets with rivets. Technically you could probably do this with the hub left on, but you will probably find it easier to remove the hub. I have attached a video that shows this being installed.
