Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Malone Elevate Kayak Storage and Maintenance stands. Now folks, these can hold 140 pounds total when used in unison. Now I'm gonna put one of these down to the side for now just so I have some space to show you the rest of this. Now, this is a lightweight stand.
It's gonna be great for holding your kayak or canoe while you're making repairs and doing your rigging. It can fold up very easily and then just as easy you can unfold it, set it up. You got foam pads here, protecting and stabilizing the bolts holes. You got the nice straps here to hold everything in place. All the construction here of the tubes is aluminum construction.
It's lightweight, super durable and strong. And it has the coating on it to where you don't have to worry about corrosion, rust, those kind of things. You're gonna get two stands, just like I was showing you at the start here today. And again, you can fold 'em up. That's gonna save you space and let's go ahead and get some dimensions of this folded up and then opened up.
So when I measured, I had a straight edge over here and I went all the way with a straight edge to the end of the feet here on the longest foot out of the four I got right around 30 inches long. On a width outside of this bolt here to the outside on the other side, I got 19 and one quarter inches wide. That was mainly because of that bolt head. If you went from just the edge to the edge, it's about right at 19 wide. And then for a height here folded up, I got four and one quarter inches tall.
Again, when it's folded up. Now, whenever it's unfolded and and in use, on a height, I got right at 22 inches tall. And that's to the top of the foam here to the ground. On a width here, I got right at 19 wide, and on a depth. So this way I got right at 24 inches deep. So that's the dimensions again, 22 tall, 19 wide, and 24 inches deep. Now folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. Again, you're getting two of these. This is the Malone Elevate Kayak Storage Maintenance Stands again, rated at 140 pounds total capacity. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching and have a good one.
Great for storing kayaks that don't quite fit on a permanent rack
I am pleased with the quality and strength of these kayak stands. I use them for working on my kayaks and to temporary store them prior to loading them up for the road. I would recommend these stands to friends/family.
