Towing or hauling a heavy load can cause rear sag as your factory suspension compresses under the weight of the load. This means that the rear axle is trying to support not only the extra load but also the weight of your vehicle. And because there is less weight on your front axle, your front tires make less contact with the road, which causes problems with traction, steering, and braking. SumoSprings upgrade your vehicle's factory suspension to level your vehicle, improve driving performance, and keep your ride comfortable.
SumoSprings provide progressive load control - the more you load them, the stiffer they become. With a lighter load, the springs will compress easily for soft engagement and a less bumpy ride. The closed-cell urethane material allows for smooth contact between the springs and your vehicle. And the springs act like a shock absorber to dampen road vibration.
The springs can also compress by as much as 80 percent to support a heavy rear load and to help your factory suspension bear up under the load. This evens out the weight, which levels your vehicle and ensures that your front tires are making better contact with the road. A level ride means that you have improved driving control, ensures safe headlight aim, and helps to minimize sway. The springs also support your factory suspension, which helps prevent sagging and reduces bottoming out.
The springs work independently from one another to support each side of your vehicle. This action helps to reduce body roll when you make a sharp turn. This also helps compensate for an off-center load.
These microcellular urethane springs are tough. They resist abrasion, oil, salt, and UV rays that can more quickly wear out other springs, and they perform well in temperatures ranging from -25 F to 200 F (-33 C to 93 C).
SumoSprings compress vertically with minimum expansion to the sides, so they won't be damaged by nearby mechanical parts and they fit safely into tighter spots. And unlike air springs, SumoSprings require no maintenance or adjustment.

I wish I installed these earlier on my Ram Promaster converted into a camper van, the improvement in stability, feel and peace of mind. No longer blown around in high wind, better towing for my boat, firmer feel just driving normal. Hard to describe all the benefits but for how reasonable they are priced and ease of installation certainly wish I had these day one when I bought the van. 100% will install these again on future vehicles and would definitely recommend this to any and everyone
So I am an expert because I watch YouTube and I went to coledge. If you want crap then go to that jungle site that specializes in "cheap-n-fast" but if you want some great s%&t then go with eeeeeeetrailerdotcom. You know I know because not only can I computer but I cann spel. I have used et.com to set up my Promaster to tow my boat, to set up my RAM 1500 to tow heavy stuff and setting up my Nissan Frontier to tow my camper. Don't be a dumb-head-poop-4-brains, watch their videos and you too can be as amazingly smart as myself!

I am happy doing bussines with Etrailer, I ordered the wrong Super springs for my Ram Promaster 2500 by mistake, called them up spoke to miss Paula and she was able to find and ship the correct one fot my Vehicle within a couple of days. She even send me a Return lable so I can return the other one back to the company. I look forward to continue doing bussines with this company.
Pretty easy install on a Winnebago Solis, built on the Ram Promaster 3500 chassis, took about an hour to install on all 4 wheels. I only parked on a level surface and used the factory jack, didn’t even lift the van off the ground all the way but enough for clearance to install, no tire removal done. I gained about an inch of clearance which is nice for my onboard generator and hoping for a better ride on windy days. The pictures are before and after of (in order) front, rear, size difference of Sumo vs. oem and the generator.

These things are awesome. Perfectly manufactured, fit perfectly and installed very easily. I needed the extra 1/2” or so of ride height to prevent bottoming out when backing up my steep driveway on my RAM Promaster 3500.
The Sumosprings solved the bad wind swaying problem in my 2016 Roadtrek Simplicity RV built on a Ram Promaster 3500 high roof chassis. Before it was white knuckle driving, now it drives like a sedan. My local RV dealer installed them for a one hour labor charge. The improvement is amazing! Right before going bankrupt, Roadtrek began putting SumoSprings on their special "National Parks" vehicle - they are a necessary addition!

Very prompt delivery and great “in-route” communication. Installed on a 2019 RAM ProMaster 3500 (configured as a Winnebago Travato). Easy,easy install. Used to replace the factory bump stops. Installed using the extra provided spacer and as many have said, raised the rear height by one inch, and provided the added stability to limit sway and improved straight line stability. So far a great product and great purchase experience.

Still going strong after 12 months and 10,000 miles. Ive since installed the front spring helpers and been very pleased with the overall improved handling of the van. I highly recommend doing at least the rear bump stops.
Put these and the front Sumos on our 2017 Winnebago Trend (Ram Promaster 3500 chassis). These were very easy to install; the front ones took more elbow grease and patience. They make a big difference in handling, especially when big rigs pass on the freeway. Very satisfied so far.

Still happy after a year, although not happy about not being able to get out on the road due to CV-19.
The product speaks for itself, very high quality at a very fair price. The big deal here is e-trailer. This has been my "go-to" place to shop since we started RV'ing 15 years ago. They are terrific to work with and if they don't have what your looking for it's most likely because that item just hasn't been invented yet. I will continue to shop at e-trailer.
Received product quickly and spent 1 hour putting the sumo springs on.
Very pleased with product.
Easy to install on my Thor Sequence, removed 1 spacer to keep about 1/4 inch of air gap. Ill put some miles on them and update.

These we the best investment I have made for my Ram Promaster. Before I purchased them it was like I was floating all over the road.
The bumpy ride has been minimized. And when rigs goes by us , the rv does stay more stable, but not that much.
It drives a bit more firmer than before.
Instant difference in my Promaster. Can't believe I waited 9,000 miles to make this change. Highly recommend.

These springs continue to be working perfectly after 1 year and 10,000 miles. The ride continues to have much less side-to-side sway in turns and against opposing trailer truck traffic! But remember to buy and install the front springs too for the best ride comfort.
