Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Pacbrake Alpha XD Rear Axle Double Convoluted Airbag Suspension Kit. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, both the 2500s and the 3500s with the two-wheel or four-wheel drive models. And this will work with your single rear wheel and dual rear wheel models, and this is going to fit trucks with the OEM fifth wheel hitch prep package. However, this is not going to fit your cab and chassis models, your Trail Boss, or AT4 trims, and this is not gonna fit trucks with the aftermarket Curt fifth wheel bracket kits.
So that's a lot of information right at the beginning, but that's why I have it there on the screen for you, just to be sure that you understood that. So as you know, when the load gets heavy, your truck is gonna need more than just those factory rear springs hanging on for dear life. These airbags are going to add up to 7,500 pounds of rear axle support, keeping your truck level and steady even when the trailer is loaded, the bed is packed, or the miles are long.
So no more rear end sag that's gonna be throwing off your braking or steering or your headlights pointing up to the sky. But as you know, every haul is different. That's why these air springs are gonna give you full control over your ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from 5 to 100 PSI. They're gonna hold up really well for you. These precision laser-cut brackets are designed to bolt cleanly to your truck's existing mounting points without welding or drilling, so they'll just mount in place with the included hardware here. And so this kit is designed to work with your setup today or wherever your upgrades take you tomorrow. Again, you're gonna be able to inflate manually with the standard air valves right out of the box. No extra parts are gonna be needed. But if you already have an onboard compressor, these are gonna connect easily to most existing setups. Or if you're planning for something like an in-cab wireless controller down the road, that's not gonna be an issue either because with this kit, you're already laying the foundation, so you're gonna make it very easy to expand your control options when you're ready. As I said, this is going to give you up to 7,500 pounds of load leveling support. However, these airbags do not actually increase your truck's weight carrying capacity, so you wanna be sure that you're not exceeding your manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
