Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags with an Easy Mount Compressor and an In-Cab Control. Now this is a single path kit, meaning you're gonna inflate or deflate both bags at the same time, and it's rated for 5,000 pounds capacity. Now this is also a custom-fit, everything has been precision-made. The brackets and everything are gonna bolt directly to factory attachment points, so no drilling or modifications needed.
And there's so many parts here, I can barely fit them on the table. This bag of parts here is your brackets for the compressor, and then of course you have all the brackets here that are made out of heavy-duty steel and then powder-coated black to keep out rust, corrosion, and give you longevity. Now when everything here is put together, it's gonna look something like this. I just threw a little collage up here together, so we can take a look at the parts, more or less what they're gonna look like when they're assembled. Obviously, you're gonna have some more parts that aren't in the pictures there that you're gonna be using, but that's the general idea.
And what you're gonna be able to do is add some pounds of air or take some out whenever it's time to load or unload, it's gonna be very simple and quick, because you're gonna be able to do all that from inside the cab with this analog gauge, and simply inflate or deflate them as needed. Again, at the same time. You get a nice big bag of hardware that's got everything from nuts, bolts, cable ties to your T-fittings for the air line that comes with it for the install. Quick tech tip, make sure when you cut this to length, you're making nice, clean cuts. That's from the techs here at etrailer, the installers, they tell me 99.9% of the time when they get calls about air leaks, it's usually leaking at a fitting and it's as simple as they just didn't make a clean cut.
Because again, those are push-to-connect fittings. So make sure you get a clean cut there. The compressor, really impressive. It's pretty small. I mean, as you can see, it's just a little bit bigger than my hand here, if you will.
And it does the job, you know what I'm saying These are big air bags and it's inflating and deflating them with ease. And again, of course, these are made out of heavy-duty rubber, straight from the manufacturer. Firestone's been around for ages, they've been doing stuff with rubber and also the air bag stuff for ages so you know the quality is there. And again, everything's powder-coated so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. And this is all reinforced, so you're gonna have a very nice product for years and years to come.
