Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 3,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 1,995 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 1,550 lumens.

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the H7 replacement bulb and anti-flicker harness kit. These are going to be a great replacement for your low beams in your vehicle. They are custom fit. They're going to be that H7 style. So if you're not sure what style your vehicle has, the easiest way to figure it out is either to look in your owner's manual of your vehicle or use our fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Use your year, make and model of your vehicle. Go from there to find the replacement bulb section. And it should tell you what you need. If you haven't already done that, great time to do it. If you have a canvas system or a PWM electrical system in your vehicle or equipped vehicle, that's when you would need this anti-flicker harness.
If you have one of those vehicles and you try to use these bulbs, a lot of times it gives you kind of a flickery effect.There's just not enough charge to go through there. And not enough voltage to go through the light, to power it on coming from the vehicle. That's why you need this harness to make it work. It's pretty simple, still to get installed. It's just a plug and play application.
There's no kind of cutting or splicing required for these. It comes with everything you see laid out here on the table. Let's go over what it is. And some of the features of the lights. Again, these are going to be designed for city use or your low beams.
They're not going to be too terribly bright so that you blind anybody, but they're still going to give you a nice improvement over typically your factory bulbs.They have a precision design. It's going to give you a nice long range of view. It's a nice, cool white color as well. So it helps to give you a better visibility while you're using them. And overall should just be a nice addition to your vehicle. I'm going to hook these up to power and ground so you can get an idea of how bright they are. Of course, whenever you put these in your vehicle, you don't have to use these alligator clamps. They're just going to plug into your factory wiring, but it's going to get really bright.So turn on light on, turn out the light in the studio and you can see very nice bright light, definitely throws the light really nicely and illuminates my studio here, which is kind of hard for you guys to see. But these are going to be definitely a really bright light to have in your vehicle. And they're going to make everything really visible and you can see that that's a nice, cool white. So it gives you a more clear view of the night around you. So it's not going to distort anything. It helps to promote better visibility as well. We can turn the lights back on. Unplug these guys, as far as the other stuff that comes in your kit, you do get a couple of double-sided foam, pieces of tape that's to help you mount the harnesses somewhere. These are kind of a clunky little boxes.So you just got to find a nice spot for those, also a couple of zip ties. So if you want to throw those into that integrated hole, in that tab, you can and wrap it around so they be secure. The bulbs, come with these two little wrenches and two little set screws that's to help you adjust the angle of the bulb itself. So you can turn it to get it to the right configuration for your housing. And if you should lose one of those little screws, it does come with those replacements. Instructions, fun sticker, and that's pretty much everything that comes in the kit with these two pieces. Both lights, one for either side and both harnesses to match up. As far as the specs, they are IP67 rated. That means they're pretty much dust proof and impervious to water or weatherproof they're rated for . IP67 means that they are rated or tested with powerful water jets.So any kind of rain, wind, or snow, shouldn't get into the housing and cause any issues with these. They really are pretty rugged. As far as the light output per bulb, we're going to get 3000 raw lumens or 1,995 lumens. So just under 2000 effective lumens and the stable lumens so after about 30 minutes of usage, it drops down to 1500 lumens roughly. Basically what all those numbers mean, it's just the different levels of light you can expect out of this.Raw lumens is kind of the potential for this light, given perfect circumstances and perfect conditions. It has the potential to give you that 3000 lumens, but the effect of lumens is really the number to go off. That's more of the real world, everyday usage that you can expect out of this guy. Color temperature again is 6500, which has that nice, cool white color that you saw. The wattage per bulb is 16.5 Watts power draw. 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb, and we get an operating voltage between 7.5 volts and 16 volt DC. They do have a two year limited warranty. No brighter than the factory lights but the "right" color. Didn't need the anti-flicker harness though.
I've had the opportunity to use these LED's for about a month now and I can say they have worked great. They are exceptionally brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs with a slight blueish tint. I have tried other cheap LED's that flickered or pulsed and threw the light out everywhere, blinding oncoming traffic. These LED's have a very define cut-off line and concentrate the light appropriately. These are plug-and-play so it easy to install these in my quad headlights. I have a stock height truck so I didn't need to re-aim my headlights once I was done. I would suggest these as an upgrade from stock lights. Thanks etrailer!

They are great. Anything better than stock lights. All the lights on my truck are LEDs now.
