Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Trimax Coupler Latch Lock. Now this coupler latch lock is designed for brake actuators that lock through the body to give you the security that keeps your gear right where it belongs. This is going to fit coupler latches up to three and a half inches. And these locks do feature an advanced locking cylinder.

So they're gonna be harder to pick and drill than most standard locks. And the two keys that you see, you're going to get two of them there. Those are typically more challenging to duplicate. So as you can see, this does have a tethered rubber cap and it's pretty tough to get that off initially. As you saw, I was kind of struggling with that.

But that's good because that's gonna give you a really good seal around that keyway, making this weather resistant. So that cap is gonna keep out dirt and moisture protecting that lock, so you can use it for all seasons. So I'm just gonna insert the two key here, give it a quarter of a turn. And then that's going to allow me to remove the head. And so that's how easy this is going to be to unlock.

And then when you're ready to lock this back up and I'll just insert the pin into the head and then turn it a quarter of a turn the other way. And then that head will be locked back on. Now this is constructed from forged chrome plated hardened steel. So it's gonna do a great job of resisting rust. It's gonna stand up to the elements really well.

Hold up against tough conditions. And again, this is going to fit surge brake couplers that lock through the body. And let me see if I can give you some overall measurements. So just a rough measurement end to end, we're sitting pretty close to about six and a half inches or so. That inside pin length or span, again, about right at three and a half inches.
