Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this TRIMAX coupler latch lock. Now, this coupler latch lock is designed for brake actuators that lock through the body to give you the security that keeps your gear right where it belongs. This is going to fit coupler latches up to three and a half inches long. And this lock features an advanced locking cylinder, so it's gonna be harder to pick and drill than standard locks.
And the tube keys that are included, you get two tube keys, as you can see, they're gonna be more challenging, typically, to duplicate. As you can see, I'm trying to get this cap off. This has a really tight rubber-tethered cap here, so it's gonna have a really good seal around this keyway. So it's weather resistant, it's good, that cap is going to do a great job of keeping moisture out, dirt, debris and things like that. So, just give you a brief demonstration.
Just give that a quarter of a turn, that's going to allow you to unlock the head and remove it. And then when you're ready to lock that back up, you'll just give it a quarter turn the other way, and then you'll be locked into place, just like that. But yeah, like I said, that cap's got a really good seal on it, just like that. So two keys included. It's keyed alike, one key to operate the lock, and the other key you can keep as a standby or a backup key.
Durable construction, stainless steel, it's gonna resist rust and corrosion, so it's gonna last you a good long time. And again, it's gonna surge brake couplers that lock through the body. I'm gonna give you some rough measurements here. The overall length, I'm gonna call it at about almost six and 3/4 inches long end to end, roughly. And that inside pin length or span right at three and 1/2 inches there.
Pin diameter is 1/4 of an inch. If you decide to pick this up, we would love to hear back from you, whether you drop a review on this product page, shoot us an email, or give us a call, we'd love to hear how the lock's working out for you, how you're using it, and send us some photos so we can see your setup as well. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
