Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our ICON Trailer Coupler Lock for your flat-lip 2 5/16 inch ball couplers. Folks, this is 22 pounds of hardened steel. It's gonna be almost impossible for someone to cut through with any kind of minimal time involved, meaning it's gonna take them hours and hours to even get even probably halfway through it being hardened steel. The fin design just kind of visually deters people away as well. There's just so much you'd have to cut through, and then when you get to the center of the actual lock core here, this guy's almost an inch across and it's stainless steel.
And this will lock your coupler, and it is gonna fit the Titan and Dexter Ball-Style Couplers with flat lips, 2 5/16. This is a demo I pulled just to show you visually what one of those kinda looks like, and let's get into how to use it. You simply twist off the top here. That's where the key inserts. This is a solid piece of stainless steel.
It's threaded, it's got the O-ring gasket to keep water, dirt, debris, muck and mud outta. To unlock it, you got four keys. They're like a half-circle shape. They're only cut on one side, so they're gonna be harder to lock pick, and even getting duplicates would be a little bit harder than your average keys and stuff that are out there. So, I'll just get this down in there.
Now, I will have to rotate this on its side to show you how to put it in the coupler just because of the space on the table and those kinda things, so bear with me here. Okay, so once you get it unlocked, you can then pull and push the pin. So again, obviously the trailer would be facing the other way obviously, but it goes right down there into the lip. I can push the pin back in. Now it's locked in place and it's not going anywhere.
Then if we wanna unlock it and unhook, simply put the key back in, unlock it, pull it out, and then it releases from the coupler. So again, that's what it's looking like. Simply lock it when you got it in, screw the cap back in, and then people also just don't know where the key inserts, so that's a nice little feature as well. The whole thing is, again, a hardened steel, and it's gonna be protected against rust, corrosion and UV damage because they have a e-coat on everything before they powder-coated it. And then, like I just mentioned, they powder-coated on top of the e-coat, so you're not gonna worry about raw metal burs, those kinda things. It's gonna help protect against chipping, scratching, wear and tear from just daily use. Now, there's not a ton of moving parts in this whole setup, so that makes it super simple to use, but also it's gonna have better security than your standard pin or disc tumbler locks and those kinda things. Again, just the way the key itself is designed, it's just a lot harder for people that are used to picking normal locks. It's not that same kinda set up inside, so they'd really have to know what they're doing and be a professional locksmith more likely than not to even get in this. Like I said, you get four keys, don't lose 'em. And that's gonna wrap it up. Again, folks, a nice limited lifetime warranty. This is the ICON Trailer Coupler Lock for the flat-lip 2 5/16 inch ball couplers. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
