Question:
What makes these ICON locks different from other heavy coupler locks?

Pam, good question. The big differences are: patented radial fins that block grinders up to 5", one-piece hardened steel (not welded), an anti-drill face that spins drill bits, and a disc-detainer key that’s almost impossible to pick. It’s the only trailer lock lineup designed to resist power tools, not just hammers and bolt cutters. All in all, I'd spend the money on this bad boy if you have an expensive trailer with expensive equipment in it, or just want to make sure you have the best defense system available.
Do you store in high-theft areas, or just want peace of mind?
And do you know which style coupler you have? Here are a few options, and I attached a photo to show the differences.
-2" Flat Lip # AL26DQ
-2" Yoke Style # AL33DQ
-2" Cast And Sleeve Style # AL78DQ
-2-5/16" Cast Style # AL38DQ
-2-5/16" Hit-N-Hitch # AL43DQ
-2-5/16" Flat Lip # AL63DQ
If you have a different style or just want to verify fitment, let me know what you have!
