Question:
My equipment trailer has a Demco 2-5/16" coupler. Should I get the # AL38DQ or # AL63DQ?

Expert Reply:
Marcus, Demco makes both cast and flat-lip versions. If yours is cast (chunkier body, rounded nose), then the # AL38DQ is the match. The # AL63DQ is for flat lips - it likely wouldn't seat right on a cast. Both share the patented fins that stop 5" grinder wheels from getting in.
Want to snap me a picture of your coupler? You can reply to this email if you'd like. But since you say you have demco cast coupler, the cast version is what I'd go with!
