This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Triangle 235 75R 17.5 heavy duty radio tire in a load range J. Now this Triangle heavy duty radial tire is designed for use on trucks, buses, and large RVs. They do use all steel belts to enhance durability and extend the tread life. And if you look at the tread, it's a nice computer generated tread design and the premium rubber compound materials to give you superior traction in wet or dry conditions. This tire does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications.
It is designed to fit onto a 17 and a half inch by six and three quarter inch wheel. And the tire size, which you'll see is stamped on the sidewall, is 235 75R 17.5. The R means that it is a radial tire. Section width 9.3 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, it's 31.4 inches.
And we mentioned this is a load range J tire, which means it's an 18 ply tire. So the maximum load capacity depends on how many tires you have. If you're using it in a single tire application, this will give you a capacity of 6,010 pounds at 125 PSI. If you're using it in a dual tire application, it's gonna be 5,675 pounds at 125 PSI. And the last thing just to mention is the tire does come with a speed rating now, and that's designated on the sidewall by a letter designation.
And usually where that's at is right after the tire size we went over. There's two numbers for the load index, and then you'll see the letter J. Speed rating J will mean this tire has a 62 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on the Triangle 235 75 R 17.5 heavy duty radial tire in a load range J.
