This wheel comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
This aluminum wheel comes with steel inserts in the lug nut wells. The inserts are pressed into the aluminum, and they help prevent the holes from wearing down over time. This ensures that the wheel stays secured to your trailer hub and that you won't have to constantly retorque the lug nuts.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Lionshead 16 inch by six inch Black Bearcat Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now, this aluminum wheel is very durable, it's very lightweight and it is rustproof. This one is the attractive Bearcat Series Wheel, which you can see as a six spoke design, has a nice gloss black color, and then if you noticed on the top of the spokes, has a machine finish on the top of the spokes and on the edge or the lip of the wheel. Now, they do use an automotive-grade clear coat finish on the front to protect from any scuffs and scratches. This wheel does come with steel inserts in the lug nut wells, so you can see right here, those steel inserts will help keep your wheel securely in place on your trailer hub.
Those steel inserts prevent the holes from elongating, so it eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of your lug nuts. This wheel does come with a complimentary roadside assistance for two years, flat tire service is available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada, or Puerto Rico. Now, this wheel does come with a valve stem, it is pre-installed in the wheel. Now, it does not include a center cap, if you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do need to get a center cap that will have a diameter of 4.25 inches, that's the diameter of the opening right here that the center cap will go through.
This wheel does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications, and the SAE J1204 standards. Few specs on this wheel, if we measure the diameter, the diameter on this wheel, if we go all the way across inside to inside, and get a tape measure, you can see there's your 16 inch diameter. The width on the wheel is gonna be the same way, it's bead seat to bead seat or inside to inside, there's your six inch width on that. Now, the bolt pattern on this wheel is a 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern, and if you wanna measure that on a wheel like this, that's an even number of lugs, six lugs, it's pretty easy, 'cause you can see the lug holes are directly across from each other, so all you have to do is pick any hole, let's say this one, measure from the center of this hole directly across to the center of the hole right across from it, on this wheel it'll measure 5 1/2 inches, so it's a 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. This will use a wheel lug size of a 1/2 inch by 20 or 9/16 by 18.
And the last thing I do wanna mention, this wheel does have a weight capacity of 3,300 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the Lionshead 16 inch by six inch Black Bearcat Aluminum Trailer Wheel with the 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern..
