  If you just wanted the Transit Turn Signal and Parking Light part # STL90A24B to act as a turn signal then you would only need to use two of the wires, not combine the red and black like you mentioned. The white wire is for the ground and will need to be attached to a bare metal surface. The red wire would then be attached to the turn signal circuit on your RV.   I think your only real option would be to replace the trailer lights on your trailer with lights that are compatible with 24 volt systems since there isn't an adapter available that we offer that would work for converting your 24 volt system to work with a 12 volt lighting system. Right now, we have a few select 24 volt tail lights. We have # STL23R24B and # STL90R24B. For turn/marker lights we have # STL90A24B and # STL23A24B. And for reverse lights we have # BUL23C24B.

  You can use the Optronics light, # STL90A24B, for this purpose. The White wire would ground to the trailer frame, the red wire would connect to the trailer wire carrying the turn and brake lights. The last wire would connect to the running light circuit. Check out the FAQ article I attached on trailer wiring also.

• Combined Trailer Turn Signal and Side Marker Running Light for a Trailer with no Side Markers
  On a trailer, the turn signals and brake lights are combined. So if you where to wire in a side marker light but also wanted to have it light up with the running lights, it would end up lighting up with the brakes as well. You can use the Optronics light, # STL90A24B, for this purpose. The White wire would ground to the trailer frame, the red wire would connect to the trailer wire carrying the turn and brake lights. The last wire would connect to the running light circuit.
