Question:
My coachs rear amber turn signals do not act as running lights, only turn signals, the tail lights are handled by another group of lights. Im going to guess that you could combine the red and black wires together to create a turn signal only mode for this light? Thanks

If you just wanted the Transit Turn Signal and Parking Light part # STL90A24B to act as a turn signal then you would only need to use two of the wires, not combine the red and black like you mentioned. The white wire is for the ground and will need to be attached to a bare metal surface. The red wire would then be attached to the turn signal circuit on your RV. The black wire would not be used in your application.
Please keep in mind that the above is an LED light which draws much less power than a standard induscant light. The reduced power draw may cause what is know as "hyper-flash". If you do experience the hyper-flash then you would need to run a load resistor like part # DI34ZR to each LED turn signal light.
