Question:
I have a 2013 F150 with the Max Tow package. It has a factory installed hitch that is rated at 500/5000 lbs. I would like to replace the hitch with a higher rated class 4 hitch but cant seem to find anything. Is there an option for this?

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a higher rated hitch for the 2013 Ford F-150 with the factory hitch. For that I recommend the following:
- TorkLift SuperHitch Hero Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - Dual 2" Receivers # TLF1005H
This hitch is rated at 800TW/8,000 lb towing. Please note this hitch is intended for short bed models and it will only fit vehicles with the factory hitch rated for 10,500 lbs. It will NOT fit models with the 11,500 lb rated factory hitch.
All of the other hitches we offer for the 2013 F-150 are for models without the factory hitch. In some cases the factory hitch can be removed and replaced, but in some cases the factory hitch is welded on, or the receiver is incorporated into the bumper making it difficult to replace.
