Installation took all of 20 mins, including putting tools away. etrailer even provided a cardboard "PAD" for me to lay on during the install (see photo)! I am exceptionally pleased with my new receiver Hitch!
By far the easiest online order I have place in many years. Product explanations and choices were plenty and clear.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch has turned out to be EXACTLY what we needed for our truck. The bumper hitch, that came standard on our 2003 Ford F150, was too high for us to tow our 10' trailer safely. I ordered the hitch and it arrived within a few days. Installation was a BREEZE. As a matter of fact, the most difficult part of the entire installation was lower the spare tire. If it weren't for that, I'd say I probably could have had it installed in 15 minutes or less. With the new hitch installed and the proper insert, we're able to tow our trailer at the proper height. Well worth the money!

We have been utilizing the hitch for about a year now and have found it to work exceedingly well. We are able to tow our 10 trailer with ease and have had no issues, at all, with the hitch. If youre in need of a hitch, and this fits your truck, I would recommend giving this one a try. I believe youll be pleased with the purchase!
Excellent variety, very fast shipping. I bought this to replace a hitch poorly installed by the previous owner of the truck. It made a nice compliment to the trailer brake and wiring previously purchased from E-Trailer. Will buy from E-Trailer again.
Did as advertised, not too hard to put up yourself depending on how bowed it is. Not a bad hitch
Couldn't be happier. Bolted onto my '97 F150 XL (10th gen) in less than 30 minutes, perfect fit. Hardest part was figuring out how to hold it up 1 handed so I could get the nuts started (ended up on my back & using my knees). Looks to be rugged & durable too, feels heavy duty. Strongly recommend, it's exactly what I wanted in a hitch/receiver.
Shipping my hitch was fast. Might consider wrapping loose hardware packs to the hitch.

Am very satisfied with product. Works as required with not issues.
I was a little unsure of ordering this receiver hitch on line since the one i ordered from another company did not fit. I called etrailer and talked to Tiffany and she assured me the one I was contemplating ordering would be a perfect fit on my 1997 F150 step side. It arrived today and I had it installed in less than 30 minutes. All of the bolts lined up perfectly so installation was a breeze. I will no longer have to use the bumper hitch which I did not fully trust.

I still have it attached to my truck however I’m really pulling anything these days no doubt it’s ready to go though
It took me longer to get the lug key and winch rod to lower the spare tire than it did to mount this hitch receiver on my 03 F-150 XLT supercrew. It fit perfectly and securely to the frame and had plenty of room for the factory 16" spare. Also liked the mounting plate for trailer light plug. Nice close custom fit under the factory bumper too. highly recommend.

No problems and I have since purchased another from etrailer for my newer 2016 F-150 4x4. it also installed easily with the supplied instuctions. not a cheap hitych either well built and strong.
After I year I have had absolutely NO problems with my trailer hitch. It was very easy to install and is a very high quality product which I strongly recommend. I’m old school and was very nervous about buying online, you won’t be disappointed with this product!

Box was damaged on arrival and one side plate on the hitch was very slightly bent (maybe UPS dropped the box).
I still was able to install by pushing hard on it to get the bolt to drop in. Suggest wrapping the ends of the side plates in some cardboard maybe so they don't poke through the box?
Otherwise fine, haven't towed anything with it yet but looks like it'll do the job.

Great have had no issues, Installed very easy. Its the secound one I have purchased fom you and very satisified.
I purchased this for my 2001 Ford F-150. Everything arrived ahead of schedule and well packaged. Installation was simple and I did it on my own. However, I recommend a second set of hands just to make getting the first set of bolts started. Product appears well made and is very rigid when installed. This model is overkill for my towing needs but for the price it was a no-brainer to go big.

After a year of use I couldn’t be more happy with this purchase. It’s holding up fine and it’s the last thing I worry about when I need to pull a trailer.
Exactly as described. I have no doubt it will support the advertised load. All bolt holes lined up. Like other reviewers, I'd recommend an extra set of hands to get a bolt started on each side. My son and I installed it in about 15 minutes.

Solid hitch. I have no doubt it will far outlast my truck.
Easy to install, worked great for as long as my old f150 could handle my 8000 lb trailer. Had to upgrade the truck but this hitch is quality.
The Draw-Tite receiver was straight forward to install and is solid as a rock!
Excellent fit, quality and function. Installation way very easy taking about 15 minutes!

Over 100 trips, and thousands of miles using this hitch! Other than re torquing the bolts once shortly after install always a good practice, we have had no issues with this hitch! I have recommended this company several times to friends. We are planning a year long trip starting this fall, one thing I dont have to worry about, is the hitch Im towing with!!! Thanks again for a great product!!!
