The delivery was excellent, arrived on time. The product, however, is somewhat lacking. The installation was difficult, not at all as easy as it looks on the video. The bolts on the right side were extremely difficult and the tow hook bolt was too short to use the washer! Also hits the tailpipe on turns & bumps.
Used for a year with a bike rack for 2 bikes. Have bottomed out a couple of times but still tight and good finish. No salt ever on roads where used. Very good quality and mounting instructions

very good, use if often with 2 bikes a lot, had to replace the 2 bolts that clamp down the main arms but stainless bolts work great with same hand wheel.
This hitch is exactly what I was expecting and What I needed for more room For road trip.

When installed according to instructions provided, my 2017 Nissan Sentra's tail pipe/exhaust touches the trailer hitch frame, causing a loud vibration. I have been told that this is a design flaw and I would suggest that you consider addressing the situation.

What you describe is a common occurrence, and luckily theres a very easy fix.The exhaust system at the rear of the car is attached to the vehicle using rubber isolators and easily bendable exhaust hangers. Because of this, the actual position of the exhaust system can vary a bit from vehicle to vehicle. When the hitch is installed, its position will NOT vary from vehicle to vehicle. The large tolerances in the exhaust system is what can allow the rattle to occur. In other words, its not a design issue. Youll just need to create a bit more space between the hitch and the exhaust. As I mentioned, this is a common occurrence that is easily remedied by slightly bending the exhaust hanger. Ive linked you to a help article that addresses how to easily fix the rattle.

Good hitch went on as it should. Now about the the muffler rattler, noting I tried worked to fix this! I watched all of the videos and called etrailer customer service not much help on this one). All of their "fixes" did not work. I ended up buying the largest isolators I could find. I think 3.5 - 4 inches with multiple holes to ensure the correct height adjustment, put those on (pack of 4 were less than $15)....problem solved. Draw tite should include 2 of these with the hitch.
Just finished installing the Draw Tite hitch on my 2018 Sentra SV.
It fits alright but there's a bit of a gap between the mounting tab and the tow "hook" after installation.
I torqued it as much as I was comfortable with but there is still somewhat of a space and I didn't want to break anything.
It won't pose a problem with my bike carrier application but for towing I'd install a spacer between the hitch mounting tab and tow hook to get a proper fit and torque.
I still may install a spacer for peace of mind but that nut won't loosen with the amount of torque and "spring" tension created.
I just watched the install video again and the 2018 Sentra model does have a different configuration than the 2017 in the video.
And yes, I did paint the hitch and 1 coat so far on the hardware for the northeast rust conditions.

In my initial order i was not aware that the insert ball mount was not included - Mr. Zack or myself did not talk in regards to the ball mount one way or the other during the taking of the order- so of course it was disappointing not to see it when my order arrived - Mr. Zack was very professional in taking my order -- Mr. Zack was not available when i called to resolve the ball mount problem -- Matthew C. handled and resolved the problem to my being very satisfied -- The trailer hitch looks great on the car - when i can i will send a picture - Thank You -
The trailer hitch receiver looks to be as advertised, but did not come with installation instructions. I received instructions for a bike rack instead - apparently by mistake.

Was apprehensive about putting this hitch on our selves but the video made it very easy! Although it would have been much quicker had we had the lift to put the car in the air like the video it still went on fairly easily. Very pleased with the product, shipping time and price! Looks great on the car and I feel confident about the installation.

Hitch could have been designed better for strength. Instructions are very poor so installer must have previous experience or this will be difficult. Does not fit without mods to 'loop' bolt install -- spacer needed there. Last time I welded my own. This time I bought. Next time I will weld my own again. Price is ok for what it is and it is strong enough to tow what I have.
Shipping was super fast! The hitch didn't line up 100%, but an easy fix. Over all very happy with my purchase. Took maybe 45 mins to install.

Sometimes this can happen where the hitch rubs against the exhaust. This can often be remedied by bending or repositioning the exhaust brackets to give more distance between the exhaust and hitch. We have a FAQ that goes over this in more detail.

Once I got it fastened correctly with a longer tow hook bolt thanks Home Depot and got the tailpipe lowered so it only hit the crossbar occasionally it has been working fine. Ive towed my 8 foot and my 4 foot trailers numerous times without any problems. Just be aware that there is very little room to install it on this vehicle.
