The product is nice but a modification was needed. Once the hitch was installed, it covered the rear most charcoal canister mounting hole. We had to drill a 9/16 hole through the hitch to get access to the threaded hole in the car’s frame. For some this could make installation difficult.
Glad they had a hitch for my car. Everything arrived in 3 days and in prefect condition. The hardware and instructions were taped securely to the hitch so nothing was damaged or lost.

The hitch fit perfectly, but the installation was slow, mainly because I did not lift the car; however, every step was just as laid out in the instructions.
I found a video online showing the installation for a similar model car but the process is the same

Overall, a decent build. I'm knocking of a couple stars due to a very tight fit around the spare tire well. It rubs on both sides so you need to "shape" the spare tire well a bit. If you don't the hitch will squeak something terrible as it rubs the spare tire well. Maybe I got a hitch that is on the smaller side of the build tolerance but, Curt should add a bit more width to give more clearance. This should account for any tolerance the car manufacturer allows during production.
An extra set of hands make installation a lot easier.
This is installed on a 2023 Kia K5 Gt-Line. It will carry bicycles only.

I did reach out to Curt and they have not had previous reports of the spare tire being in issue in this way. It did not come up in the test fits however it has now been noted.
A perfect fit for my 2021 Kia k5. Simple to follow instructions.
Easy install on 2022 KIA. works perfect for my wifes bike rack!
This is an excellent quality hitch, I like that Curt puts extra effort in the powder coating process which should help prevent rusting, a common problem I see on hitches. The installation instructions are top rate and easy to follow.
Just received the hitch and wiring today, ordered it Friday, showed up very fast and looks very well built
Hitch came very quickly and was exactly as pictured. Installation was not quite as easy as advertised but once I was able to widen the holes in the frame the rest of the job was very straightforward and went smoothly. Very sturdy design and works great.
Was happy to be able to order this hitch as it’s currently the only one available for my ‘22 Kia K5.
The hitch arrived poorly packed, protruding from the broken box, but was undamaged. Installation is listed as taking 30 minutes, prior hitches I’ve had professionally installed took 2-3 hours and I managed to do this install myself in about 3 hours. Installation instructions were good and detailed and specifically related to my vehicle. The hardest part was enlarging/grinding 4 holes in the car chassis and then lifting the hitch into place without moving the mounting bolts. TIP: if you’re doing it solo as I was, it is helpful to hoist the hitch partially into place by using a strap attached to the trunk latch.
