Video Transcript for The Low-Down on the Inno Fishing Rod Carrier

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Inno ceiling mount fishing rod carrier. Now, this ceiling mounted holder will let you carry up to seven, either two-piece or telescoping fishing rods inside your vehicle. And it can also carry landing net handles and gaffs. This carrier is a nice, lightweight aluminum construction.

Only weighs a total of about 10 pounds. It is an interior rod holder, and it is contoured to your vehicle's interior roof, so your head space is not sacrificed when this is installed in the vehicle. And it installs by wrapping around the vehicle's grab handles. The clamps, one on each side, one here and one over there, will attach to the grab handles and tighten down to hold this carrier in place. Just wanna zoom in and show you, here's one of the handles.

So, you can see right here, you can just loosen this knob. And when you get the knob loosened enough, that'll allow you to remove it. And then you can open this up. And you can see when this opens up, this will clamp around the grab handle. Once you get it around your grab handle, then you just hook it back in place, tighten this knob down, and it'll hold it in position.

And you'll do the same on the other side. Now, the J-hook holders, let me show you those. There's a set of seven on this frame on the front, seven on this frame on the back. But basically, you'd see these J-hook holders on the front and the back will make loading and unloading your fishing rods pretty quick and easy. You can see they have these elastic bands on each holder.

So, what you do is you just put your fishing rod up here, push up against those bands, drop it into place, and it'll hold it there. And you'll do the same on the back one when you line it up. So, it's a very quick and easy way to hold your fishing rods in place, and pretty quick to remove them. Now, they do have adjustable knobs here on the side legs. If you pop down these covers, you can see there's a knob here and there's one on each of the legs. If you loosen those, that'll allow you to conform this. You can see it'll rotate and conform to the ceiling for your application, make fitting your application pretty easy. Once you get it in the right design you need, tighten it back up, push the holder or the cover up, and it'll keep it out of so nobody doesn't touch it. It does also have many other adjustments. It has many latches. There's four latches here. It has some knobs here and that's to adjust it to fit your application to how you want it to fit. These latches right here, there's four of them. You can just flip it down, it'll loosen it up and you'll do that one. And it'll allow you to move this center frame, either side to side or front to back. Once you get it in the position you need, just go ahead and flip the latch back up, that one too. And then you can do those and it'll hold it into place. It also has four knobs. There's two on this J-hook frame in front, there's two knobs on this one. And it'll even allow you to adjust that. In other words, if you loosen these knobs here, once you get them loose enough, you'll be able to see that you can slide this front to back. Same way there if you got different length rods. And also, side to side if you wanna put them out of the way. Once you get them to how you want it, just go ahead and tighten these knobs down and it'll hold it in place. Now, to install this, it is a very easy installation. Comes with these included rubber protective pads that'll protect your vehicle. And also comes with a nice instruction manual to describe how this all goes together and how it installs. Few specs on this, the carrying capacity again is for seven fishing rods. You can use them with either a two piece design or the telescoping design. The rod diameters that'll fit in here is 22 millimeters up to 33 millimeters. And the weight capacity that this will hold is 15 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the Inno ceiling mount fishing rod carrier..
