Question:

From my understanding the Kia K5 for 2021 is a rebadged Kia Optima, this is what I heard. I would like to buy the hitch listed above, but I dont want to purchase it and not be able to make it fit without anymore problems or steps than those listed for the 2020 Optima. I need this on my vehicle before the middle of next month for a planned trip. What if any, expert suggestions can you offer me? Thanks One of the differences that I can mention is that the K5 has dual exhaust, I figure that the left side would be a mirror replica of the right side, fingers crossed.

For your 2021 Kia K5, you will need the Curt # C58JR. The Curt # C11402 you looked at is specific to the Optima line as the 2021 K5 is wider, lower, and longer than the 2020 Optima, so the hitches are quite different between the 2 vehicles.
