I have a reese dual cam hitch assy. I have just changed vehicles and the new one is a three inch receiver. The old shank is two can I change shanks so it will fit better

You can use your Reese weight distribution hitch with a 2 inch shank with your vehicle that has a 3 inch hitch receiver, but there isn't a 3 inch shank so you can simply use a hitch reducer, which also has the benefit of being much more economical than a brand new shank. What you can use is the following:

You can also secure this adapter to your hitch with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Lock # 63260.
