It is well built and has a welded strut to reinforce the long rise/drop ball mount. The "shock damper" feature is sure to help absorb the leverage movement that a rise/drop ball mount passes on to the hitch receiver itself.
Very well made hitch. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this hitch. I have another big drop hitch that i paid 10x what i paid for this and i really wish i had found this hitch before i spent all that money on the other one. This does exactly what's advertised and definitely helps a lot with absorbing shock and keeping the trailer tracking straight and comfortably behind you.
Looks good but haven’t towed with it yet. Price was a little higher after conversation and shipping but looks like a decent product. My truck is a dodge 3500 with a 6” long arm lift on 37” tires and this 12” looks like it will be perfect for my cargo and utility trailer’s. Other note it was a little loose in my 2” hitch so I added a receiver clamp to stop rattle.
This is a ball hitch mount that is not a standard unit, problem I had I purchased a new p/u going from a 2500 series which stood higher to a 1500 series standing lower by 4" also lowering 3 1/2" towing a 4800 pound boat as we all know, needing to tow level, that wasn't going to happen, this ball mount did the trick, fits D.O.T. standards also more than what i needed for weight requirements

Ball mount achieved the goal for my height requirements, what I didnt explain the piston action in the ball mount, it does cushion the back and fourth while towing considerably if and when I will buy one with it, also you got it to me in two days great device l
Exactly what I needed. This fits on my front receiver, which is hidden at the bottom of my grill. I needed the extended drop to keep the trailer level when manouvering. The hitch is of good quality. I’ve only used it at very low speeds. Works for me.

Great looking drop hitch and unbelievably fast shipping. Works great on my 2012 dodge diesel with 6" lift and 37" tires. The 10,000 lb. rating is the highest I could find with this much drop not to mention about half the cost of any other hitch I found. Customer service and shipping verification follow up is second to none. I'll be buying from them from now on.
Wasn't sure this was what I needed but this hitch worked great. Seems to be well made. Truck has 40 inch tires and 11 inch lift and now i can pull camper and a small trailer without putting the smaller tires back on.
The hitch appears to be made very well and heavy duty. I haven't had a chance to tow with it yet, but this was the only company I could find that carried a 12 inch drop down in stock. I had two other companies cancel my order because the 12 inch drop was no longer available through them. Excellent price also.
I am very happy with the 12 inch drop hitch i bought it was just the way it was described on the web site it will work perfect for pulling the car trailer to the races.
Wow. Product shipped same day, regular ground, but arrived only 2 days later. Had the cushion feature on it that I hadn't even noticed or expected. My Toyota truck is lifted 6" with a Nissan Titan hitch custom welded on so this brought it down to the perfect height for me (14"). Great value too. Thanks!

Prompt delivery. Works perfectly on my BJ45 Land Cruiser pulling a small trailer. Made in USA was a must for me. Great product.
Strong, fits into hitch well. Wish I would have bought a 10" drop though. The local trailer shop recommended the 12" drop, but with the weight of the trailer it hangs down lower than I would like.
