Expand your field of vision and reduce blind spots with these easy-to-install, slip-on towing mirrors. By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.
This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Today we'll be reviewing part number LVT-2100. These are the Longview custom towing mirrors with the slip-on design. Both the driver and passenger side mirrors are included. To see if these are going to fit your particular year, make, and model, you can refer to the vehicle list at the bottom of the product page. The towing mirror slips over your side factory mirror to help extend your lines of sight. It's going to give you a better view of the road in your trailer and it's going to let you safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park. The mirror face is manually adjustable simply by pressing in on the corners to achieve the angle that you need.
They also feature an aerodynamic shape that's going to help prevent vibration and wind noise. The custom design provides a nice, perfect, secure fit for your vehicle and they're not going to obstruct with the factory mirrors and they're not going to interfere with the adjustments that need to be made to your factory mirrors. Another neat feature is that they are a quick, tool-free installation in three easy steps. All you got to do is slide the towing mirror over the factory mirror, hook the arm around the inside edge of the factory mirror, place it back through this hole, and then install one of the hand knobs to secure the towing mirror in place. You can see that each mirror has this nice, foam pad that's going to protect the back of your factory mirror. It's also going to allow it to squeeze tightly against the factory mirror for running that nice secure fit with reduction when it comes to sliding around or wiggling at all.
The housing around the mirror is made from a durable ABS plastic. We'll go over the dimensions of one of the mirrors since they're both going to be the same. The mirror face is going to measure 4 1/4 by 5 inches and then the overall length of each mirror is going to give us a measurement of about 15 1/2 inches. That's going to do it for today's review of part number LVT-2100. These are the Longview custom towing mirrors for the driver and the passenger side.

These tow mirrors are very robust and they hold up well to the elements and road vibration. However they are pretty small and don’t help very much with towing a trailer. I then got Dometic Grand Aero3 clip on tow mirrors. Those were great as the mirrors were twice as large or more than these mirrors. But the clips were junk one fell off after a few tows. I now have CIPA 45000 mirrors on my truck. They are very similiar to ford type 8 tow mirrors. These cipa 45000 mirrors took some minor fabrication but they are great. They Stick out far, very sturdy, almost no vibration, and the mirrors are huge (7.5” x 10.5”) so it makes towing easy.
the tow mirrors i had installed work great. i dont know why i waited so long to purchase them.
The mirror extenders work great. Just took a 200 mile trip and no vibrations or loosening. Good visibility and could see cars behind my 32 foot 5th wheel.
Towing mirrors look great and although we haven't installed them yet they look like they will fit perfectly! We are looking forward to using them on our 1997 Ford F350 to tow our fifth wheel. Thank you etrailer for prompt/dedicated service & fantastic products!
Looking through all the information about mirror extensions was quite difficult because of the large variety of extensions. I goofed on the mirror I needed and called back in for help. Etrailer have the best staff that I have ever worked with. They where fast, very helpful, and right when I received the mirror that I needed. An extra thank you to Pat for her help and support. I would recommend these guy's for ALL trailer needs.
Passenger side mirror is useless. Not like all OEM mirrors that say " object in mirror is closer than it appears". That's what allows a wider field of view on the passenger side. Used them 3 or 4 times and was frustrated enough with their function to quit using them.
Pretty darn good for what they are. I have an OBS Ford and tow a 5th wheel. I'm able to see both sides by leaning over a little.

My son just bought a truck without extended mirrors, these fit great and there is no vibration extendes your vision for towing.
Installed them on my truck, fit great. The mirrors adjust very fine. do not bump into power mirrors. Will see more when I put camper on.
I like the way they are custom fit to my `95 F 250 Diesel. I could see around the trailer to get it home, but now I can see better & safer.

still working great. after 1 year of use they have not cracked or anything. definately recomend this product.
