Finally, a pair of extended (towing) mirrors that truly fit my Ranger! I had another set that just did not seem to fit securely, held on by a clip and rubber straps. These actually cup the mirror, and are held securely in place with a hook and nut type method. I LOVE these, and the super quick delivery from Etrailer.com was an added perk. I would recommend these to anyone that has a Ford Ranger for sure, probably as good for other models, but finding a mirror like this for my Ranger was difficult, if not nearly impossible. Thanks, Etrailer.com!

by:

Bought the mirror extensions for a Ford Ranger, they fit like a glove. Very little mirror vibration while traveling and they extend far enough so I can see both sides of a pontoon boat.

They attach via a simple but secure arrangement -I'm sure that's why there is so little vibration.

by:

I purchased these mirrors for a 2002 Ford Ranger, I previously used the strap on type, and these are hands down a better product. Easy, straight forward installation with minimal vibration, unlike the strap on kind. They fit like a glove I recommend them for anyone looking for after market towing mirrors.

Ordered the Longview slip-on towing mirror for my 2001 Mazda B3000. They came in just a few days. Fit like a glove; nice and sturdy...very stable views from both sides. Great service and great product.

Easy to put on. They have worked great!

Thank you for your prompt service and follow up communication. The Trailer Valet and Back Up Mirrors arrived when expected and were beautifully packaged for the protection of both items. The tracking link provided was also helpful. I have several items on my Father's Day list that will most likely come from etrailer

by:

The mirrors fit really well and look good on my Ford Ranger. Really satisfied with them. Thanks for a really quality product.

A year later and these mirrors are still a good addition to my truck. They go on and off with easy and I would recommend them to anyone. This is just one of the quality products I’ve gotten from etrailer.

by:

Ended up with I'm assuming was a returned product from someone else and not inspected. Box was partially crushed upon arrival (maybe by shipper.) Everything in box loose instead of being bagged properly in plastic bags for smaller parts and wrapping for larger ones. One mirror was wrapped in paper and one was unwrapped bouncing around inside the box loose. Thought the one bracket was missing for the mirror until found it jammed in the box corner of the box stuck in some tape. Passenger mirror obviously had been used before and had glue where brace was mounted previously and then broken off. Took a day for clean mirror and bracket, reglue and fix mirror before being able to use on my truck. Couldn't wait for a replacement as we needed to use the mirrors right away. Really disappointed in this first order from etrailer.

Now as far as the mirrors go, they fit my 2003 Ford Ranger perfectly and are just what we needed to make our rig safe when traveling with our trailer. That I’m thankful that you had the mirrors in stock. They look so much better than some other, one size fits all, style.

by:

The side mirror extensions I received fit perfectly and were easy to install.

Fits perfectly, Easy to use

by:

These mirrors perform very well, giving a view past our Casita that is obstructed in the oem mirrors. Of course they stick out a lot further than the oem's, but that's how they can work. It took me a while to get comfortable with having them working, but it is worth it, and it's more my problem as an old geezer than anything the mirrors could do otherwise. The attachment system is very robust and the appearance is fine and the mirror glass is good and clear. A good choice.

by:

I bought this mirror set for a 2004 Ford Ranger about a year ago. This Ranger has manual mirrors, so adjusting even the stock mirrors is a pain. After I installed them, I wasn't so sure I had made a good purchase, as it really didn't cover my blind spot.

Well.... a year later, I did some more mirror adjusting and they work great. Being manual mirrors, it was very difficult to get the mirrors perfect, but we finally got them dialed in to cover blind spots and the traffic directly behind the small overland trailer I pull. I'm glad to have made the purchase, They should be great on electric mirrors.

BTW... they even took a bird strike at 70mph with no issues (sorry bird...RIP)!!

by:

I actually purchased 2 sets of these mirrors. One for my Chevy S 10 and another for my Ford Explorer Sport Track. I regularly tow a 24 ft pontoon boat that is 8 ft wide. These mirrors work very well. I can see all the way to the tail end of the boat on the drivers side. This is the more important side for me. The passenger side visibility is not quite as good. I have to be very careful when switching back to the right lane when on a dual lane highway. All and all I highly recommend these mirrors. Keep in mind, this is a huge object I'm towing. I would not think of towing my pontoon boat without these great mirrors. Someone towing an average size trailer or boat should have great visibility on both sides. These mirrors definitely add a "comfort factor," when towing a boat or trailer. They are easy to install and are very stable. I definitely would recommend them !

by:

First time buyer on etrailer and I have been pleasantly surprised by the effort to get my order shipped asap and the follow up. Not to say the product worked and fit perfectly. Something to be said for USA made.
Thanks and I will be back most assuredly.
Great service, great follow up, great product. Need anything else be said.

Still working perfectly

by:

I like the way the mirrors fit over the existing mirrors. They fit tight and very well secured. For me the mirror on the left side works very well. It jiggles some, but I can see much better behind my trailer than I could without it. The mirror on the right doesn't work as well. Part of the problem is that the trailer's A/C unit is in the way; the other problem, though, is that the mirror (just the mirror, not the whole unit) jiggles very much with the road vibrations. It would be good if one could set the mirror and then, somehow, tighten it so it does not jiggle.

The were extremely easy to install.

The drivers side works well the passenger side mirror vibrates too much to see very well with it.

by:

The clamp interferes with the electric mirror movement. A better method to secure the mirrors to the truck would be a bungee/ball cord instead of the cheap plastic hook. Other than that the mirrors are acceptable.

Its been a year - the mirrors have not changed. Everything still works and the quality is still holding up. All in all Im satisfied with the investment.

by:

Did not fit the mirrors on my Ranger. Had to return the item.
Regarding the shipping method it was not good. etrailer opened the mirror box auto place my other item inside. Stuck labels all over the mirror box which was crushed at one end when I received it.

I checked and for the 2011 Ford Ranger we do not have a set of towing mirrors however we do have a blind spot mirror available part # KSCW2100.

by:

These work great on my 2001 Mazda truck. I use them when towing my 17 travel trailer. I’ve tried various clip-on, suction cup, and strap-on extension mirrors. Some time or another, these mirrors will suddenly give and fall off. I don’t have to worry about that with these Longview mirrors. Wish I had found these years ago.

After a year, these are still the best extension truck mirrors I’ve used. One of the little straphooks had fallen off one when I had them off, but we were able to find it in the backseat.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. I have attached a picture of the mirror and the towing mirror is not wide enough for my mirror to fit inside it. As you can tell the towing mirror sits way back half way of the bottom of my mirror. It doesnt fit over my mirror whatsoever. Even when I tried to barely slid it over my mirror it wasnt budging and sounded like it was gonna break it

I did hear back from the manufacturer today. They suggested that there could be a few possibilities that are happening. The first is something that happens, however happens rarely. When the OEM mirrors on the vehicle are made there can be variances in how they are manufactured. These variances can be enough to make the aftermarket mirror fit improperly. The second possibility is that there could be an extra thick foam pad on the inside of the extension mirror the needs to be compressed for a proper fit. If you do not want to keep the mirrors, please let me know.

1997 Ford Explorer XLT
This will be getting
a 3/5 from me. Fitment is good, no issues slipping them onto my original mirrors. They do vibrate a lot though. When driving, really can't focus on them. But overall they will do.

by:

Perfect fit

by:

These mirrors fit my 2001 Ranger XLT Extended Cab with manual side mirrors perfectly. As usual Etrailer shipped promptly and kept me informed through the shipping process.

by:

Assembled poorly. One of the mirrors was glued together poorly and came apart before or during shipping. Would not fit a 2001 explorer sport with puddle light as said by their expert. Return was made easy by etrailer.

by:

Works great when towing having a little truck without being able to see has always been dangerous. I replaced the screw tensioner with a zip tie so I didn't have to always retention it when taking it off and on.

by:

Exactly what I needed for my Ford Ranger. So glad I found you !

by:

etrailer took good care of my order and delivery. Great price. Product arrived in great shape and on time. The mirrors fit and went on very easy. I am very very satisfied. Why not a 5 star- well to be perfect is hard to do- product is inexpensive and better than cost but is not a Premium mirror set. I am a satisfied customer and will use etrailer again!

by:

They fit my 1996 for ranger mirrors well and once I put them on, I’ve just left them on full time. I’m towing a wide cargo trailer, and while I could use a little longer mirrors, these actually do well. They give me enough view to each side to tow this large, wide trailer safely.
