By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.

These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Custom Slide-on Towing Mirrors. These towing mirrors are going to extend your line of sight so it's easier and safer to see your trailer and everything else going on around you, so it's less nerve wracking to drive with that trailer. When you're changing lanes, driving on narrow roads, that sort of thing, you'll be able to see your trailer easier with these extended mirrors. It's going to make it all a lot easier for you, take some of the pressure off.This kit does come with both the driver and passenger side mirrors.
They are going to install very easily. It's not going to take much time at all. You just simply slide them over the factory mirrors, take the little hook here, put that on the mirror and then take the knob and screw it in on the other side. Tighten it down until it is tight. That is going to serve two purposes.
Obviously it's not going to allow your towing mirror to slide off, but then also when you have that nice and tight, it's going to help reduce the vibration of your mirror, so you're going to get a much clearer image as you're driving along. This does have premium glass so it's going to minimize the distortion and glare that you get with mirrors.They do slide onto your OEM mirrors without scratching or harming them. It's not going to reduce your fold-in or breakaway function of your mirror. If you we're to hit a post or something as you we're parking, it would still allow your mirror to fold in like normal.Now this is a custom mirror set, so it is going to fit your 1997-2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette, as well as your 1997-2005 Chevrolet Venture, your 1999-2005 Pontiac Montana, as well as your 1997-1999 Pontiac Trans Sport Van.They do have the dynamic or aerodynamic shape that your OEM mirror has, so it's not going to take away from that and make them any more resistant or anything. They do have a nice black textured finish on the back.
They're going to look nice as well as be functional for you. They are made here in the USA. So you can trust they're made to the high quality standards you've come to know and trust for products made here in the US. They do have a one-year limited warranty that comes from Longview Custom Towing Mirrors. If you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give them a call.
They would help you out with that. But I really don't think you're going to have any problems. I think these are going to be a great option for you.If your vehicle is one of those, that this is a custom fit for, you can trust it is going to slide right on into that mirror. You're not going to have any problems with that. It's going to do a good job of holding itself onto that mirror so you're reducing that vibration. I was a bit disappointed by the fit but over all I think they will do a good job. I was especially pleased that there is no vibration as I go down the road.

The mirrors for my 2016 F150 arrived a day early so I was able to use them over the weekend on a short camping trip. The mirrors were easy to install and had little to on vibration while we were driving. This is a good and inexpensive product.

They work but adjusting them is very difficult. They don't want to move, the mechanism is super stiff.

product fit on truck as promised. Easy to install and no vibration at high speed or on rough roads. Too bad I couldn't find in Canada and had to pay a hefty freight and customs bill to get the article to Canada

Didn’t fit like I thought they would, not like photos. They did help when putting 30 ft. Camper
I like the mirrors. But the screw/bolt to tighten them could be 1” longer.
Mirrors are crap, provide no observable advantage, and have been donated to Goodwill.

The fit is very good on my F-150 mirrors. There is no rattle and the mirrors will not fall off. They match the lines of the original mirrors so they look pretty close to factory.

They're ok, fit well when new but loosing up some when they get older. Have some vibration but not too bad.
