Product was exactly what I wanted and worth the wait due to not being in stock. Everything works as it should and matches almost exactly the style of my factory mirrors. My only complaint would be how the items are packed before shipping and that might not be etrailer it could be the mirror manufacturer. My box was broken, the glass popped off and a wire was loose. However I got everything put back and it all seems to be working fine for now. Will update later if I have any issues.
Installation was straight forward after watching Youtube videos for mirror R&R. This is important since there are no instructions in the box. Keep in mind that higher level trim trucks will have more wiring than many of the videos depict. My Laramie Longhorn had additional wiring for the mood light at the interior door latch and the door threshold lighting. I put blue Loctite on the mirror studs and used the supplied nuts with integral washer.
Very happy with the purchase. Mirrors look great with stock appearance. Power folding, adjust and heating work as designed. Great product.
Your video about installation was excellent! These K-Source Flip Outs fit right up to my 2020 RAM 1500 Classic. My only disappointment is that my mirrors no longer fold as my factor mirrors did. Other than that, everything is good. Field of vision - EXCELLENT! Clarity of glass - EXCELLENT! Look just like the RAM O.E.M. mirrors except they are larger and with the flip-out, they are great. Easy to install, well packed for shipping. I figured that I would be pleased as they came from Missouri! Missouri is my original home state and for 44 years from 1951 to 1995. I'm from St. Charles County as well!
These towing mirrors are EXACTLY what I was looking for and exactly what I needed! Not only did I receive the parts, but the sales team reached out to me after my purchase and before shipping my product to ensure that this was what I was looking for and that it would fit my truck. Their personal touch gave me the peace of mind I needed for this purchase and ensured the perfect fit for my towing needs. Thank you, Lakeiya!
Works perfect....:)
More than pleased with mirrors. Perfect fit and great quality!
Very good quality product and I am pleased. Minimum vibration.
They are a little tight getting the nuts started. Compared to the mirrors I ordered (and returned) from ECCP, these are 10 times higher quality!
Oh my goodness
These mirrors are a game changer
Love, love, love them
Great Mirrors! They look great, function perfectly in the folded or unfolded position.
Outstanding shipping and service. Will do business again as needed. Thank You
These mirrors fit and work well. They're very solid, no vibration.
Very fast shipping! would recommend to anyone looking for a strong and well built pair of towing mirrors.
The install was fairly easy after door panel removal. I was able to do that without any special tools. I considered many different similar mirrors that are available and decided on these. The others all had vibration issues. These mirrors do not vibrate on my 1998 Dodge. The only issue I had is two fasteners could be about 3/16 of an inch shorter as these two do touch the door panel assembly when you reinstall it. It has not caused problems but it was a concern when I put everything back together.
I needed a new set of towing mirrors for my 2000 Dodge ram, and needed them in a hurry. After being told by another vendor that they were backordered and unavailable for an unknown duration, I found that not only did etrailer.com have them in stock, but they had them at my doorstep in less than three days! The staff was courteous, helpful, and very responsive. I will continue to do business with etrailer, and will recommend them highly! Thank you, etrailer.com!
Quality is great! Only negative I've had on my truck is mirrors did no mate flush on door leaving a gap between black plastic ..of mirrors, and door metal. Just looks stupid. All else has been great. Adjustability, scope of view, minimal wind rattle. Been a great buy!
Replaced factory sport mirrors with these for towing a fifth wheel. These mirrors made a huge difference and there was little vibration at speed. Other cheaper mirrors I looked at had bad reviews about wire routing and shorting. These have the wiring routed to come out in the factory location. Easy install, the door panel removal was the hardest part.
Assembly was pretty much straight forward. I do not remember seeing a paper set of instructions with these mirrors. Hardest part is removing the door panels with their 13 individual plastic fasteners. It helps if the door is warm when removing the panels, less likely to tear the plastic parts. After installing the mirrors there was a slight gap where the plastic cowling on the mirrors buts up against the outside of the doors at the top of the triangular apex. I was not able to get rid of the gap no matter how tight the mirrors were fastened. I just lived with it. Mirrors seem solid and sturdy and don't vibrate much at highway speed. The heated option does a good job of clearing the frost on the mirrors. I really like that the mirrors fold in almost flush with the windows. Makes it easier to get around in the single car garage. Overall a good set of mirrors.
I have put off commenting on these mirrors for a few days. The reason being I am a bit disappointed how the mirrors do not turn in towards the center more tan they do. This applies to both the left and right side mirror. It does not make any difference if the mirror is at the normal position of tipped up.
I am an average 5-7-5-8 tall person and I have toi have the drivers seat moved forward to comfortably drive the truck. The mirrors hit their limits to turn in and aI do not see behind the truck that well.
No if I move the drivers seat all the way to the rear, then the mirrors are very good to see behind.
There may be a fix for this problem it there was a tapered wedge that could be placed between then mirror mount and door skin that would change the angle which in turn would allow the mirror to be positioned inward more.
I was pleased with the courteous service from the etrailer representative. I bought these to replace non-power towing mirrors on a vehicle we recently purchased to use pulling our travel trailer. I was disappointed when printed on the box was Made in Taiwan after being told they were made in the USA. That being said, the appearance of the mirrors is good, the power function works well and the installation is simple. They do have minor shaking at highway speeds. I have given a 4 star rating to this product vs giving it 5 stars based upon the above mentioned facts.
I would have given a five star rating as the mirrors are quite good. However, I had to cut one of the mounting studs shorter on the driver side mirror as it (the stud) was touching the mirror control assembly and wire harness. Other than that, I pull a 32' Jayco Flight and the mirrors are fantastic.
1. The screw down wire strap sits on boss that sticks up about 3/16 of an inch right in front of the hole where the grommet and wires go through which caused the mirror from sitting properly on the door. After grinding the boss off and shortening the screws up, the mirrors fit good on the outside. (I did this on both sides).
2. Now to the drivers door panel, it would not fit back on because with the stiffener plate and longer screws, the rotatory mirror switch hit the upper bolt and held the panel away from the door a good 1/4 inch. I made a flanged cup to recess the nut below plate and cut the stud down flush. And everything fit fine. The stiffener plate really needs to be redesigned with a shorter stud in that position and the screw boss should be removed. But once I fixed all the problems, I love the mirrors.

They are still fantastic, I like the ability to fold them down when not towing. After a winter of snow, the heater function works quite well.
