Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Front Runner Stratchit tie-down straps. These combination cam buckle and bungee tie-down straps are going to let you secure your cargo quickly and easily. And this flexible bungee section is going to stretch to accommodate a variety of loads and also absorb the road shock. And if your cargo shifts at all, the stretchiness of the strap will allow it to move and still put tension on the cargo holding it in place.
If there is no give in your straps, you typically run the risk of your cargo shifting and the strap losing all tension on your cargo and potentially losing that cargo. So then you're just going to simply pull on the loose webbing through the cam buckle here and that's going to tighten this strap down just to the tension that you need it to be tightened to. So these are going to be very easy to use and you can see the stretchiness of the strap in particular. Now, these feature stainless steel carabiners that are going to allow you to easily attach to your tie-down points. These spring loaded gates are going to lock around your anchor points and you're not gonna have to worry about these carabiners accidentally coming loose from your tie-downs or disconnected from your tie-downs.
And these built-in hook and loop wranglers are gonna keep the excess strap neatly coiled as you can see here, so that's a nice addition to these straps that's gonna help prevent the unused strap from flapping around while you drive. Now, the safe working load limit is 220 pounds per strap. And as you probably know, tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used. So for example, if you're using straps with a working load limit of 500 pounds each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 pounds, then you need at least two straps to safely secure that load.
And you always wanna use these straps. You always wanna use straps in pairs. Now, the overall length, these are adjustable as we've been mentioning, so these are gonna be adjustable from 22 inches all the way up to 71 inches long. The width of the strap is one inch and you are going to receive what you see here on the table. You are gonna receive these two straps.
And if you are looking for something just like this, but these might be too long for you and you're looking for something shorter, the good news is Front Runner does also have shorter versions of these straps. They call them Stratchit Shorties tie-down straps. So if you're interested in taking a look at the shorter version of these straps, I am including our item number for those shorter straps on your screen. You can just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website. That will take you to those shorter straps. They are actually going to be about 20 inches shorter than these straps that we've been looking at together today. Well, that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
It's amazing how handy these straps are. I stash them everywhere.. from the stroller to the golf cart to every car we have. They're great for tying down everything in the cargo area but really excel for securing things on roof racks from christmas trees and beach umbrellas to stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
Works well. Primary use is to secure my Wedge Camper to the wheels of my truck. Fully adjustable and does not day or scratch the wheels or paint.
This it the second set of four Front Runner Strachit straps that I have purchased. They work perfectly to secure my two kayaks to the racks without any concern that they will come loose. Brilliant idea, very well made.

Straps are still working perfectly. Little to no ware on the straps. Clips are in perfect condition. They work great for all types of loads without the hassle of coming loose.
