I believe you are looking for something like the K Source Custom Flip Out Towing Mirrors, # KS60179-80C. These are flip out electric towing mirrors that will fit your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. We have a set of these mirrors on our 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 and they are great. There is little to no vibration and the folding arms are very firm.

Keep in mind, the electric and heat functions will only work if your truck came equipped with the features originally. If the factory mirrors were not electric or heated, then you will not have those functions with these mirrors.
