Expand your field of vision and reduce blind spots with these easy-to-install, slip-on towing mirrors. By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.
This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Today we'll be reviewing part number LVT-1000. This is the Longview Custom Towing Mirror with the slip-on design for the driver and passenger side of your vehicle. These are going to be a custom fit so to see if these are going to fit your particular year, make, and model you can refer to the vehicle list at the bottom of the product page. The towing mirrors are going to slip over your factory side view mirrors to extend your line of sight. It's going to give you a better view of the road and your trailer, and it's going to let you safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park. It's going to feature first-surface chrome plating on the mirror face that's going to minimize distortion.
It's also going to help to reduce glare. The mirror faces are manually adjustable simply by pressing on the corners. That way it's going to let you customize your view and get the angle that you need. It's got a really nice aerodynamic shape to it so it's going to help prevent vibration and wind noise. The custom design's going to provide a perfect, secure fit for your vehicle. The add-on mirrors will not obstruct the factory mirrors, and they will not interfere with adjustments that need to be made to the factory mirrors.
It's a really quick, tool-free installation. They're going to come with these nice little foam pads that have adhesive backing on it. You peel that backing off, you're going to stick that on the inside here, and that's going to protect your factory mirror from any scratches or abrasions that the slip-on mirrors may have on the factory mirrors. That's just there for a level of protection and it's going to protect the finish on your factory mirror. All you have to do is slide the towing mirror over your factory mirror, take one of the hooks and hook it around the inside edge of your factory mirror. That's going to come back through this slot here, and then all you'll have to do is tighten up the hand knob or the thumb knob on the back.
This portion's going to hook to the lip on the factory mirror, bring it back through the slot, and then you're going to secure it by installing this right here. As you tighten that down it's going to bring the hook in, grabbing onto the ledge of the factory mirror, and it's going to keep the slip-on mirror nice and tight and in place for that nice, secure fit that we're looking for. The housing is made from a durable ABS plastic. It's going to include the driver and passenger side mirrors. If we take a look at one of the mirrors they're going to be identical. Take a look at the mirror face, that's going to give us a measurement of about four and a half inches by five and half inches, and then the overall length of our mirror, measuring from end to end, is going to give us a measurement of about fifteen and a half inches.

Easy on and off. Package was damaged upon arrival, but contents were in good shape, and all there.
Very pleased and they work on my truck great!
I have an old Chev. work truck with toolboxes throughout the back. Seeing around the toolboxes are impossible with the custom mirrors that are on the truck. This was the only solution for the safety of this truck without spending unnecessary funds.
I like these mirrors and they have preformed very well for us.
The product that I purchased was the LVT1000 - the towing mirrors for my 1987 Chevrolet Suburban R10 (half ton model) 2WD. The mirrors fit just like a glove and actually add beauty to the truck...The enclosed trailer that I just bought is 8.5' X 24' and is extremely wide and basically takes up the entire lane, so I needed a mirror that would allow me to see down the sides and also see the traffic approaching from the rear...This is a fantastic item and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...I just retired after 20 years of being a cross country semi-truck driver and I know what I am talking about...DRIVE CAREFULLY !

very good , only put them on when i need them .
Bought these mirrors for my old 85 Chevy K20 to pull my camper. The fit is very good and couldn't be easier to throw on the truck mirrors quickly. The mirrors do as they should and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again if needed. Shipping was fast which is much appreciated. Thank you for the great service!
I have a1987 chevy trans-air van they work great easy to put on and take off. I would recommend this product to anyone. They also look very good
Mirrors slipped on perfectly on my 1991 Chevy Silverado pick up. The hooks that came with the mirrors were not long enough to hook in front of my stock mirrors. I was able to use the hooks attached to the stock mirror bars that the stock mirrors are attached to. That was enough to support the slip on mirrors. They look great, much better than the strap on mirrors I had before.
great products, great service! for both the Curt Class 3 Hitch and the Towing Mirrors.
These are easy to mount and work well once they are adjusted. The adjustment is a pain and needs two people to do it quickly and efficiently. I can see around the 108" trailer with them.
I have an older GMC Pickup and very please to find these mirror extensions still available. Quality is very good. Added enough mirror to see around enclosed car trailer.

Lasted about 3-4 months before mirrors fell out of the housings. Not a long term solution.
Product delivered to my door on time. One note I would add is that the box is the original manufacturers box, so be cautious if it is a gift.

The mirror fell out on the drivers side while towing on the interstate. I will not be replacing with the same product.
