Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with this CIPA slip-on towing mirror. By adding it to your OEM side-view mirror, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.
The mirror is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirror. Simply slide the mirror over your side-view mirror and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedge to hold the mirror in place. This wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.

and they look really good they look like they are factory mirrors install very quickly about 1 minute a side and they still allow the mirror to fold in if need be and they don't hit the side of the truck when folded in they fit my needs just fine the only complaint I have is the mirror itself could be bigger its about 1/3 the size of my factory mirror
you have a decent blind spot when using them you just have to check yourself and its not a problem other than that they fit my needs well and come on and off quickly so they work really well if you don't tow 247 but it you tow very often like for a living I would recommend the full replacement ones cause they have less blindspot but if you tow every now and then they will suit your needs just fine I would recommend this product it you tow every now and then 28911

I recently bought the snap on type trailer mirror from etrailer for my 2013 GMC Sierra. They were extremely difficult to snap over the outside of the mirror and the extended mirror was very lose. These new mirrors (10902) are easy to install and the extended mirror is easy to adjust and will not vibrate out of adjustment. On the right side I need to install and clamp the mirror about half an inch to right in order for the plastic not to interfere with the large mirror adjustment. 104043

visibilty and solid fit. Stock mirrors will fold with these mirrors on with no interference. It takes less than 5 minutes to install on your vehicle.
If I were to change anything, it would be to make the wedge that locks the mirror on, a permanent part of the unit. Then you would not have any pieces that could get lost when storing the mirrors.

Information lists this for 2014 Silverado, packaging notes this is applicable for 2007-2012 Silverado and other year GM vehicles. Somewhat disappointed I went ahead and fit checked both driver and passenger mirrors. Though it does fit, it does not wrap itself around mirror completely, mounting knob does seem to secure assembly to truck mirror.

I have just the towing mirrors for your 2013 Chevy Silverado. Take a look at CIPA towing mirror # 10902 (passenger side mirror) and # 10901 (driver side mirror). The wedge that comes with these mirrors includes a piece of felt that sets on the surface of the wedge to protect the finish of the mirror. The Longview Custom Towing Mirrors, part # CTM1600, will fit your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Crew Cab 4x4. The custom mirrors would slide over your existing mirror. I went out to the warehouse and pulled a CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, Driver Side, # 10901, to measure how far the mirror portion is beyond the factory mirror on a 2010 Chevy Suburban. From the edge of the opening where the end of your factory mirror will be to the end of the glass it is 5 inches. To the center of the glass it is about 2-1/2 to 3 inches. The friction of the foam tape on the wedge against the OE mirror and the foam tape on the inside of the towing mirror is what prevents the mirror from moving. When inserting the wedge, it will take a little bit of force to get the hole in the wedge to line up with the hole in the mirror. The knob secures the mirror to the wedge.

It just seems that way because it is next to the convex glass of the factory mirror.
