Custom-Fit Towing Mirror
Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with this CIPA slip-on towing mirror. By adding it to your OEM side-view mirror, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.
This mirror is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirror. To install, simply slide the towing mirror over your side-view mirror, and use the included hook and hand knob hold the mirror in place. Slip the hook over the arm of your factory mirror, and secure the towing mirror to the hook with the knob.
Slip-on mirror will fit factory mirrors that look like the mirror in the image above.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA custom slip-on towing mirror for either the driver or passenger side. It's a universal fit. The mirror fits a '78 to '91 Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Jimmy, '80 to '87 Chevrolet CK series pickup and GMC CK series pickup, '78 to '91 Chevrolet and GMC Suburban, 1980 to '96 Chevrolet and GMC van, '84 to '93 Dodge Ram, '88 to '93 Dodge Ram pickup and Dodge Ram Charger. The towing mirror slips over your factory side view mirror to extend your line of sight. It allows you to safely and easily change lanes, pass and park while towing a trailer. It's going to feature the manually adjustable mirror face.
That's going to let you customize your view so you can simply press in on the sides or the corners to achieve the angle you need for your application. It's got a nice aerodynamic shape to it. It's going to offer a nice tight fit to help prevent vibration and wind noise. The slip-on mirror maintains the aerodynamics of your factory mirror. This is custom designed for your vehicle so the add-on mirror will not obstruct your factory mirrors and it won't interfere with adjustments that need to be made to the factory mirrors. It's a tool-free installation.
It's going to come with the ABS and polypropylene plastic hardware as well as illustrated instructions to walk you through the installation process. The mirror itself when it comes to the housing is durable ABS plastic construction and it's going to feature a scratch-resistant mirror face. Again, the universal mirror works on either the driver side or passenger side of the vehicle. It's made in the U.S.A. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. Measuring here at the center of the mirror, the mirror face is going to measure about 4-1/2 inches.
From this edge right here to the end of the mirror measures about 5-3/8 of an inch. That's going to be about the amount of distance that's added to your factory mirror. Going this direction in the center, the mirror face is going to measure about 5-1/4 to 5-3/8 of an inch. It's going to be a little bit more narrow here at the outer edge, a little bit wider here towards the factory mirror. A pretty simple installation. You just slip this on your factory mirror.
This hook is going to hook around the factory mirror arm. The threaded piece comes back through the housing and then you just thread on the mounting nut until everything is tight and secure. That's going to do it for today's look at the CIPA custom slip-on towing mirror for the driver or passenger side.
Seem a little lightweight but after using them, definitely appreciate how good of a job they do. highly recommended.
I had to tap out the threads to get The thumb screw installed.
