Video Transcript for All You Need to Know About the Phoenix Faucets RV Bathroom Vessel Sink Faucet

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Phoenix Faucets RV bathroom vessel sink faucet. This faucet is going to let you upgrade the bathroom vessel sink faucet in your RV or camper and this is going to be a very simple installation. You are just going to drop your new faucet in place through the mounting hole of your existing faucet and then tighten the included mounting hardware down with this included tool. And hopefully, you can see these posts here and then the hardware here that tightens this down.

And this tool is just going to slide over those posts and then allow you to easily tighten down that hardware so very simple installation. Finally then, you will connect the included hot and cold water lines, and the use of tub and tile caulk may be required, depending on your installation but I do wanna let you know that that caulk does not come with this faucet. So, this features a single handle design with a lever style handle and the ceramic disc cartridge is maintenance free, and the durable, long-lasting disc creates a watertight seal when the faucet is turned off. This has a flow rate of 1.2 gallons per minute. It is WaterSense certified and this high spout, or high rise spout rather is tall enough to clear your vessel sink edge.

And the distance from the countertop to the aerator is about 3 1/4 inches. Now, you can add a matching pop-up drain and lift rod assembly if you so desire. Obviously, that is sold separately, but this does have a rubber plug that you would just remove from the back of the faucet if you wanted to install that pop-up drain and lift rod. Now, this is of a durable zinc and zinc alloy construction with a matte black finish and this matte black finish is very stylish and it is going to go with many different types of decor. But we also offer this in two other finishes, a brushed nickel and chrome.

Brushed nickel is one of my favorite finishes. So, if matte black is not necessarily a finish you're looking for, we do have those two other options. I do wanna make you aware that matte black, this matte black finish, although attractive and stylish, can sometimes pick up smudges and fingerprints, and sometimes can scratch easily. This looks like it's a pretty durable finish so I think it's going to do a great job for you. Now, just some overall dimensions so you can be confident that this is going to work for you.

I took some measurements earlier before our time together. Beginning with the overall height from the top of our faucet all the way down to the countertop that this is going to be mounted on, we're sitting at about 6 5/8 inches tall. And then the width of our base, we are sitting right at about 6 3/8 inches wide. And then the depth of our base, we're sitting right at about 2 3/8 inches deep. And then measuring the spout length, I measured from the center of our faucet all the way to the end of our spout here and we are sitting right at about 4 7/8 inches long. Close to five inches but right at 4 7/8 inches long on that spout length. Our water supply line size is half an inch male pipe thread.
